Helped with acid reflux
I started getting bad acid reflux/heartburn during my second trimester of pregnancy and thought I'd give Tums a shot. I'd never taken them before and wasn't sure if I'd like the chalky texture, but they're surprisingly not bad. They do have a bit of a powdery texture but it's gone quickly and while they didn't completely take away the heartburn, they definitely helped and was better than taking nothing at all. I like that these are fruit-flavoured and contain a bit of calcium to help with my intake, although they don't claim that you should take these as calcium supplements.
Must have for reflux in pregnancy
This is my second pregnancy and Tums does not disappoint. I used it throughout my first and now during my second pregnancy as I suffer from moderate acid reflux throughout the day. It tastes great and it is tempting to chew more than is required lol. Works pretty well and allows me to sleep comfortably at night would definitely recommend. P.s. I own several bottles; one for home, work and handbag lol.
Tums Extra Strength (Assorted Fruit)
I suffer from Acid reflux and often get indigestion as well. I like using the Tums Extra Strength (Assorted Fruit). I personally like the fruit flavor better than the mint ones! They are fairly fast acting and you can use them many times a day if you need to.
They are not that strong sometimes prescription medication is required for me but in a pinch these do provide relief and work for more minor heartburn
Great Product For Relief From Bloating and Discomfort
I have a sensitive stomach, so I always Tums Extra Strength with me in case I start feeling a lot of bloating or discomfort. These help save the day. When I start feeling unwell, I'll typically chew two with a little bit of water, to help the chalky texture go down a bit easier. Then, if I'm at home, i'll typically lay down and within a short time, I'll feel a lot better. These are best taken as soon as the pain starts to go from mild to moderate. The Assorted Fruit flavors have a bit of a sweet and sour taste to them, which is pleasant. This is my favourite of all Tums flavours.
These can be found at most stores and can often be found on sale.
Works well
I always have a bottle of tums in my house . This one is assorted berry and they taste pretty good . They can be taken as a calcium supplement , heartburn , upset tummy , acid reflux , etc . Lately I've been getitng acid reflux , so I take two of these and it really helps . They're approximately $5 dollars at Walmart and I recommend.
Good for gas or heartburn
Tums are great if you have heartburn or gas in your stomach. I often get bloating and discomfort in my stomach and Tums Extra Strength often comes to the rescue. I find the different fruit flavours taste good and don't leave too much of a weird aftertaste. Look at the back for instruction of how to use and how many to take because you cannot take within 2 hours of other medicine. I also like how Tums provide a good amount of calcium in them. I had a doctor who took 2 day as a minor calcium supplement.
These work pretty well when I have heartburn. They don't taste awful like some vitamins. They are chewable little fruity vitamins. Good for a variety of ages. Relatively cheap and fairly affordable.
Les tums sont très utile à avoir dans notre pharmacie à la maison. Bon gout et produit est croquer. À utiliser avec modération pour brûlements d'estomac.
These are my go-to when i'm experiencing heartburn and indigestion. I love the fruity flavours of tums, and even how they are slightly sour (it doesn't seem like i'm eating a 'medecine' because they don't taste awful). I find these are fast acting as well.
I pretty much live on this stuff, there is always a bottle on my nightstand. It really helps keep the heartburn down to a manageable level and I really hate to run out.
