I received these try to test from ChickAdvisor. Although I only tried one it wasn't for me. I'm not a big fan of fudge and the bars I received were chocolate fudge bars. As I didn't like them I can't really say that they worked. I'm sure for others they they may be great but for me they weren't. I would still suggest them to others trying to maintain or lose weight.

I have not used a meal replacement bar, so I was not sure how I would feel using it. It's defintely a mind thing....I had to wrap my head around the fact that this chocolate 'brownie bar" thing is to replace an entire meal. Once I did that, they were pretty good. I was expecting them to taste awful, as I hear is the common trend amongst other meal replacement bars, But these had a decent flavour. They did keep me full for a while, and I would just have a snack of carrots and yogurt in between lunch and dinner. I think they're a bit expensive (only come in a 5 pack I think). Wish the price point would be lower. I'll have to see where they are sold and see if they ever go on sale, to repurchase again.

I ate a few bars during long days and nights, working double shift. I also had one in replace of breakfast. I liked the fudge flavour and the soy crisps bits. It has a rich enough taste without being like candy, a chocolate bar. I didn't try the weight management plan because I didn't see it in the box until a few days ago. First of all, I love the deep dark chocolately taste that these bars have. Very rich and decadent and exactly what I'm usually craving.
BUT these are meal replacement bars, not chocolate bars! Sounds even better right? Not really.
These didn't fill me up, definitely not useful as a meal replacement.

While these bars were delicious, I didn't find they really worked as a meal substitute. I can find a whole lot of other balenced foods that will fill you up more for under 250 calories.

Unfortunately, I only had half of one bar so I cannot comment on effectiveness honestly...well, I guess, they didn't work for me because I was unable to stomach them. Just like all other meal replacement bars out there, this product is chalky and nasty tasting...it tastes more unhealthy than healthy. It leaves a film on your teeth/throat and is no better tasting than others on the market.

I was fortunate to try this product for free via the Chick Advisor Product Review Club. I was skeptical as most meal replacement bars I've tried have had a nasty artificial taste and are often too sweet for my tastes. On the plus side, this product has a decent amount of protein at 15g per bar. Ultimately I found the bar too sweet, as well as being higher in carbs and sugar than what I would normally eat. The chocolate flavour was okay but I did not like the texture of the crispy bits in the bar. It's "Decadent Fudge" - fudge is supposed to be smooth! There was also the artificial taste that I've found in every protein bar I've ever tried. (I guess there is no getting away from that?!)

I will keep my eye out if the brand creates a lower sugar/carb meal replacement bar. The 15 g protein and 4 g fibre is a good start but I think the product needs some tweaking for taste and texture.

Unfortunately, I found little to like about this bar.
It didn't nearly satisfy my hunger, so I would not turn to this as a complete meal replacement, and I typically eat small portions. Secondly, the taste was poor and finally, the texture was chalky as I would expect from a traditional protein bar - I had expected more out of a new protein bar.
The only redeeming feature for me was the crunchy 'soy crisps'.
Sadly, i would not purchase or recommend these.

I have never liked the taste of protein bars and this product is no exception to that. I ate two bites of one and gave the rest to my boyfriend. He didn't really mind the taste but said they were not something he would want to actually buy. He also did not find them very filling and could never see himself replacing a meal with one.

Adrien Gagnon Decadent Fudge Nutriforme Bars are an excellent grab and go meal replacement for those days that you haven't got the time sit and eat or to take a moment to prepare food. I found this Bar to be very rich and tasty for a protein type bar and it's very dense and filling. The bar will keep you full for a long period of time because of all the protein keeping your sugar levels at bay so you don't constantly feel hungry. This is a great way for people that want to lose a few pounds easily without the guilt or hardships that come with weight management because this bar will fill you up and elevate hunger. The fudge flavour is palatable and enjoyable without to much flavour from whey and vitamins in the way. Good way to get a spurt of awesome energy. I would buy these again to keep around for days that I can't afford time to sit and eat a nutritious meal.
