Purrrfect for those liquid messes!

I've tried many different products in my litter training nightmare. So far, HardBall™ Clumping Litter has truly been at the top of my list. My little furball hasn't been sneezing nor have I so it must be fairly dust free. It's been much easier to clean-up the liquid messes due to the formulation of the clumping as well. And the odour that would normally cause my eyes to water like Niagara Falls and my sinuses to run like a bear was chasing em was virtually undetectable! Overall, I was pretty pleased.

Excellent clumping power

I received this product for free in exchange for an honest product review.
We tried Arm & Hammer Hardball Cat Litter for two weeks, and while it offered superb clumping and minimal dust, my cats weren't fans. Despite its excellent performance, they only used it twice. I would recommend this litter for cats who aren’t as picky, as it definitely delivers on cleanliness and odor control.

Lightweight

This stuff is great. I would definitely recommend for someone who has a hard time carrying heavy items. I picked the box of cat litter up with 1 finger. The texture and color and all around product is not like any other cat litter I have used before, very little to no dust. The price was a bit high and I have 2 cats, so I go through cat litter fast but love how it clumps so makes clean up nice.

The Best Litter

I was really happy with the Arm & Hammer Clumping Litter impressed with how it worked to clump easily. There was no odor, no dust and it was effortless to clean up. My cat had no trouble changing over to it so I will continue to buy it because I liked the results and I highly recommend it. I was given this product for free from Butterly.

Hard to find, but worth the search

I had to visit 7 Walmarts in my city, just to find this litter stocked on the shelves, but I did eventually find it. Definitely worth the search because this litter works! No, dust when poured into the box, it definitely cut down on the smells associated with a used box, super easy to scoop out, and has lasted a week now. All 3 Cats seem to like it. I do recommend this litter.

Great Litter, But Impossible to Find

I’ve been using ARM & HAMMER™ HardBall™ Clumping Litter for a while now, and it’s honestly one of the best litters I’ve tried. The clumping is incredibly solid, making cleanup much easier compared to other brands that tend to crumble. It also controls odors really well, which is a huge plus. My cat took to it immediately, and I love that it doesn’t track all over the house as much as some other litters do.

The only downside? It’s ridiculously hard to find in stores. I’ve checked multiple locations, and most of the time, it’s either out of stock or not carried at all. It’s frustrating because once you start using it, you don’t want to switch to something else! I really wish it were more widely available because it’s a fantastic product.

If you can find it, I highly recommend giving it a try—but good luck actually getting your hands on it!

Surprisingly light

I received this free sample of arm & hammer called hardball clumping litter. The box is surprisingly light. The product was granular instead of sand, which I really liked. Very little dust. The scent is absolutely amazing. Highly recommended for a multi home cats. Both of mine seem to enjoy it very much. Cleanup is super easy! Clumps like a charm, and doesn’t stick to the bottom of the litter box.

Effective but heavily fragranced!

Arm & Hammer's HardBall Clumping Litter was easy to find at a nearby retailer, and was priced competitively"ish", being slightly more then my typical brand per kilo. The box was on the small side for the price, and was small enough to be extremely easy to manage, portable and not overwhelming with a convenient carry handle, but not so small as to be impractical.

Upon opening, I found the kitty litter to be intensely fragranced, and was originally concerned this would cause my very particular older cat to reject it as she has done with other scented brands before, surprisingly this was not an issue. I did however notice numerous times over the course of the week that I could smell the cat box upon entering my house - not in a bad way, just the fragrance or "fresh smell" of the litter itself.

The litter is exceptionally small grain - in fact that is my one concern with this product. Its so fine almost like sand, that it occasionally sticks to the cats paws and fur, and I do wonder what will happen if the cat ingests this litter while grooming and hope there have been steps taken to ensure it will not clump in a kitty's stomach.

This kitty list also scores well for being almost completely dust-free and my cats did not track it at ALL out of the litterbox. From that standpoint alone, I'm not sure anyone else can top this litter.

I didn't find the clumping to make either balls or get overly hard, though it did clearly clump very well with kitty tinkle, it was oddly, more of a "pee pancake" in our litter box, but it was very, very easy to scoop out of the litterbox.

Overall, I'd give the clumping an A - it wasn't a tidy ball but was easily removed. I would prefer if they toned down the fragrance slightly, but it was pleasant enough and nobody else in the house seemed to notice it. When I asked some houseguests if they could smell it, 1 out of 2 said they could but was shocked to learn it was the cat box. For kitty owners with mobility issues, this litter would be an attractive option.

Awesome Litter

I got this product free to test and picked it up at Walmart. It actually comes in 2 sizes but I got the small box. Its a beige coloured litter which was the first difference I saw. I'm more used to a grey litter. My cats sniffed it all over thoroughly before doing the usual dig through the new litter. It was later that night before I got the chance to see what the "hard ball" was actually about. It does really form a hard ball and that makes it 100 times easier to scoop than traditional litter! That alone has sold me and I am officially switching to this litter! With 2 cats you really do scoop a lot and this litter is spectacular to scoop and get rid of. I give it 2 thumbs up and my 2 cats give it all paws up too!

Lightweight Litter

My household got to try the ARM and HAMMER™ HardBall™ Clumping Litter courtesy of Butterly. With two cats and two litter boxes, we go through a lot of litter. It is a lightweight scented litter which my cats are used to.The box provides straightforward and clear instructions for gradually switching your cats to this litter, this step is very important to follow if you want your cats to use and accept this litter.Having followed these instructions, my cats had no problem using this litter. We continue to mix the two. The scent is very strong, and would prefer a lightly scented option, so if you are scent sensitive or your cats are not used to scented litter this is something to be aware of. It is a good clumping litter that is dust free. My cats prefer having their litter scooped after each use.
