Couldn't live with out it

I have 4 or 5 tubes of this stuff on the go it's perfect to keep in your purse or car, never have chapped peeling lips again, no bad taste either but I dont suggest getting it in your mouth

A family favorite

Blistex Medicated Lip Ointment is the go to in my house when anyone has sore, dry lips. It is the only thing my husband will ever put on his lips and he swears by it. As the whole family uses it, we do not put the applicator directly on our lips, instead we use our finger or a q-tip to put it on.

It works really fast to heal cracked dry lips and you can feel the balm tingle a bit as it works. The results are almost instant, but you may need to keep using it for a few days to ensure they are fully healed before switching to something else to keep your lips from drying out again.

Great Product

I love this lip product. My lips are constantly dry at work and this is one of my go to lip products. The product can burn your lips if they're really chapped but does heal this quickly and gives you relief. The only thing u dislike is the white color that sometimes you really have to run into your chapped lips. Overall though I love and recommend this product.

A decent product for dry lips

I seem to have dry lips in all seasons, which causes cuts. When I bought this product it was quite pricey regarding its size, but it does moisturize. During the first uses, it does leave a minty tingle on the lip which in my opinion it made MAH LIPS FEEL GOOD! Requires time and many applications in order to see results. Overall, my only concern is the price and yes I do understand that it contains medicated ointment, but I didn't see much of an effect so I don't think it's really worth its price.

Life Saver!

I NEVER GO ANYWHERE WITHOUT IT!!! In fact, I may panic a little if I realize I'm running low! This is the only lip product I use! It's a life saver for my constant dry lips and super effective at keeping away those pesky cold sores - as soon as I feel the itch or twinge of one coming on, this is my go to! The texture is second to none - I despise those thick, wax like lip products. Blistex Medicated Lip Ointment goes on smooth and leaves no oily or waxy residue! I refuse to use anything else!

My Saver

I love this product. It is my life saver when it comes to my cold sores. Takes all the itchiness away and keeps my lips hydrated. I would recommended it

Oil

Don't get me wrong, I LOVE Blistex, specifically their Lip Medix. One day I decided to venture and try this. It. Is. Not. Good. It feels like you put a layer of oil on your lips. It has a cooling effect due to Menthol as the ingredient. Other than that it doesn't heal your lips or works as a great moisturizer. It would work as a lip shiner if you dont have chapped lips or cracked lips. Else wise, I would opt for something else that would maybe have vitamins and add some hydration to the lips.

been using for 20+ years

Winter for me means dry chapped cracked lips Most of the season... I apply this ointment at night before I go to sleep and by the time I wake up that sore Crack in the corner of my mouth gone..

Very Soothing

I have recently begun to have an extremely dry and cracked upper lip. I have tried many products, but have found that the Blistex Medicated Lip Ointment to be very soothing. It also does not have any strong smell or flavour, which is great. I would recommend this product for anyone suffering from dry and cracked lips. Worth the cost!

extreme lips

I use this when my lips are way beyond the average chapped and they are sore and red. I have even used this when I had a bad sun/wind burn on my face lol hey it works :)
