Breyers® delights

Was very excited to try the ice cream, I didn't enjoy the texture of the ice cream, it tasted amazing but it's pretty expensive for such a small container. My two little boys love it, it was a winner with them.

Disappointing

I was excited to receive my Breyers box in the mail with a little blue scooper and a coupon for one free tub! Anything free is worth trying.
I am an avid ice cream lover, and was dissapointed with the flavour I chose, cookies and cream.
The flavour was hollow, and missing sweetness. I can only assume that the low calorie aspect of the product is aaffecting its taste, but it does not compare to similar products. I can't speak to the other flavour options, but I will not be buying the cookies and cream again.
On a side note, the price of this product is very expensive for the quality.

Lacking flavor and value.

After receiving this product for free from chick advisor I ran to Wal-Mart to get it. While it was with the regular ice cream it was hard to find as there was little stock and no signage for it. The price tag read a whopping $7.47 for a small container so I was glad to have the coupon.
After getting home and trying it I was highly disappointed. The flavor was very very mild and the texture was a bit more of a watered down ice milk rather than an ice cream of high quality.
I definitely would not recommend this to friends and family even with its low calorie count and higher protein. For the price and lack of flavor you'd be better off eating normal ice cream and going for an extra jog.

Not my Cup of Tea

Breyers is usually one of my favourite ice cream brands but they missed the mark with this one. The cookies and cream taste like ice milk with cookies in it. Not appealing at all.

I was so excited to try this new ice cream and I have to say that I was extremely disappointed. The ice cream did not have a lot of flavour and it also wasn’t very smooth as it had an icy texture.
This may have been something that is ok if you’re looking for a bit of a healthier option, but definitely not at the $7.49 price tag!
It’s very expensive for what you receive and I definitely do not think it is worth it. You can buy a 2L of frozen yogurt that tastes way better, is a lot cheaper and is comparable in nutritional value.

Save your money!

Cookies & Cream Pass on this one

I recieved the cookies and cream flavour free from ChickAdvisor. I wanted to love this product, I mean who doesn't love ice cream?! But after tasting it, I was disappointed and it isn't something I wouldn't reach.

My first issue was the product availability, it took 3 stores (which were suppose to carry it) to find one that actually had the product in stock (in any flavour).

My second issue was the price: retail price was $7.99, it was on sale for $5.99 but I couldn't imagine paying $7.99 for the small container, especially when other big containers of ice cream were selling for $4.99 at the store.

The last, and most important issue for me was the taste. It was definitely an iced milk not an ice cream, it lacked the creamy, milky taste that I look for. It advertises 16g of protein per container, which I'm sure will interest some people. The taste reminded me of vanilla protein powder, which is not what I want my ice cream to taste like, so this was not something I enjoyed. On the plus side, there were nice big chunks of the cookies in the ice cream.

In my opinion I would pass on this and grab something else more affordable, and more delicious next time you want to treat yourself.

To each their own

First off I had a bit of trouble locating these new Breyers Delights frozen dessert even though I had seen them already advertised hence the late review. I tried the Cookies and Cream variety and the consistency of this is of icy soft serve ice cream which made it easily scoopable. However it was the taste that was underwhelming for me and that's where it counts. It wasn't creamy enough for what I enjoy and it left an artificial sweetener aftertaste which is from the stevia. The cookies and cream contains 360 calories for the whole pack but I don't eat a whole container in one sitting so that's not an issue or a reason for me to buy a frozen dessert. If your curious to try it by all means try it, everyone has different opinions as to what they enjoy but I will stick to whole milk , real sugar Breyers ice cream.
