I wasn't really a fan of this flavour but they do use great quality ingredients. The berries and crispy ingredients add a great crunchy and chewy texture. The dark chocolate is delicious, so it doesn't make me feel too guilty.

The flavours are unique to Brookside so I would definitely recommend everyone to try out this flavour. I wan't too much of a fan of this flavour but my family really enjoyed this flavour, so this is definitely a good choice for cherry lovers. Not too many chocolate companies have chocolate bars with cherry flavourings, so I think people would be open to trying these chocolate bars out.

I would buy this product again, however I would wait for them to go on sale. However, my whole family and a bunch of my friends are fans of Brookside, so I know they will love these new chocolate bars.

Out of all three flavours this one won out. The crisps inside were very good as was the cherry flavour. It merried well with the dark chocolate.

I received three different flavour of Brookside chocolate bars to review, but this one wasn't my favourite. The chocolate is very smooth and the flavours tasted very natural, not at all artificial, but I'm not a huge fan of cherries and this bar was a bit too sweet for my tastes. Didn't stop me from finishing it off though - if you like cherry I'm sure you'll love this flavour. I usually buy pretty high end chocolate bars (starts with an L!) and these are comparable for sure, more sweet than the dark chocolate I normally buy though.!

I received the Brookside Chocolate as part of the Chick Advisor Review Panel. This was a pretty good combination with the cherry and the crispiness, but I would have preferred almonds or some kind of nuts instead of the wafer. The texture of the chocolate was not waxy like some chocolate and there was just the right amount of everything in each bite. I'm not usually a dark chocolate fan because I find it can sometimes be too bitter or "dry," but this was not at all - it was smooth, flavourful, and had just the right amount of sugar. If it had nuts instead of wafers, it would have been perfect.

I tried this as part of the product review. Not my favourite of the batch, but still very tasty!! This would go well with a cold glass of chardonnay, or a light merlot.

Yummy chocolate bar! Very tasty, great texture and just a good balance sugar/chocolate! Me and my boyfriend both enjoyed it very much.

First off thanks to Chick Advisor for the opportunity to try these bars out for free. I truly wasn't sure if I would enjoy this flavour of Brookside Chocolate Tablet, but I was pleasantly surprised. I took the first piece and I found it has a nice taste from the pomegranate and tartness from the cherry. Much to my liking. My coworkers enjoyed it very much as well!!

I was excited to try this flavour of new Brookside Chocolate tablet, although was a bit concerned I wouldn't love the Pomegranate added flavour. The cherry and rice crisps, however, made up for it and both my husband and I ended up really enjoying this bar. I would recommend it.

The packaging > I am very impressed with the high quality packaging of these chocolate bars. Each bar comes in a sturdy cardboard sleeve that helps protect the bar from damage. The packaging has an aesthetically pleasing design. The high quality images of the chocolate bar on the front cover of the packaging clearly show its ingredients. Within the cardboard sleeve, you will find the chocolate bar itself. The bar is wrapped in a hot pink / violet plastic foil wrapper with a classy looking pattern to preserve the bar's freshness. The packaging is very informative. It lists the nutritional value of the chocolate bar and its ingredients. It even has allergy information. All in all, the packaging gives you the impression that this is a premium chocolate bar.

The aroma >
Upon opening the wrapper, you are greeted by a very pleasant, yet subtle sweet aroma. You can definitely smell a hint of the cherries and pomegranate that are within this bar.

The appearance of the bar >
The bar itself is beautifully designed. It is conveniently segmented into an interesting mosaic of rectangles and squares. It was very easy for me to split the bar evenly three ways due to the way the bar was segmented. Some of the rectangles and squares have images of the Brookside logo embossed on them, while others have a pattern matching that of the plastic foil wrapping...very attractive!

The ingredients >
I really like the fact that all of the chocolate bar's ingredients are evenly distributed and visible throughout the bar. You can clearly see the fruit and crisp rice. Also, the ingredients appear to be all-natural, recognizable, and pronounceable.

The texture >
The texture of the chocolate bar is interesting. It is a balanced combination of crispy, creamy, and chewy...almost like a Rice Krispie square. The bar has just the right thickness. It's easy to bite into and it won't break your teeth.

The flavour >
The chocolate bar is a little bit on the sweet side for dark chocolate. The cherries aren't as tart as I was led to believe from the information on the packaging.

Value >
At a MSRP of $3.69, I find this chocolate bar to be average to fairly good value given its quality and weight.

Conclusion >
I really enjoyed the appearance, taste, and texture of this chocolate bar. It's a little sweeter than I would like (i.e., sweeter than the dark chocolate I already buy), however, I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys quality dark chocolate that's permeated with the flavours of cherry and pomegranate. The packaging is so attractive, that I would not be ashamed to give this chocolate bar as a gift to someone.
