My three year old son liked this bar but my husband and myself found it a bit dry. The flavor was alright but we didn't really enjoy it as much as we were hoping. The nutritional content was very good though.

I was really excited to test this fruit and nut bar thanks for Brookside and Chickadvisor! I love the Brookside brand chocolate pieces and was excited to try it in a bar form. I love both blueberry and acai berries, but found that this bar was extremely tart for my tastes and lacked any type of sweetness, I was expecting more of a "granola bar" taste and texture but this was an entirely new experience. It was very dense and filling and I did like the whole almond pieces in the mix. Sadly, I actually couldn't taste the thin layer of chocolate what so ever over the tartness of the berries. you can tell just by looking at it that it is a premium product with premium ingredients, but expect the premium price tag to follow. I would have loved to actually be able to taste the chocolate, but overall it was ok.

I received these as a free sample from Chick Advisor. I have to say - I love fruit and dark chocolate - especially blueberry and acai. I was expecting a tough, brittle bar, but this exceeded my texture expectations. The price might deter me from purchasing in the future, but perhaps as a nice treat!

Brookside is really stepping up their game, first with the chocolate bars and now these. It's great that they are made with real fruit and are gluten free for those who are sensitive to that. They made a great addition to my lunch as a special treat however they have a high calorie count and high sugar content so they are more treat than healthy choice, just something to keep in mind. But it was a unique bar with a strong fruit flavour and nice addition of dark chocolate that I found satisfying.

It doesn't tate enough blueberry. Too much Acai taste. But the chocolate is good. I found the bar too hard. It was difficult to eat without hurting my jaw.

Brook side dark chocolate fruit & nut bars - tried blueberry with Acari, cherry with pomegranate and cranberry with blueberry. All three bar where delicious a little high in sugar then I normally like. I think that there are a lot of delicious bars out there that aren't as expensive (1.99 each).

This is my least favourite flavor of the nut bars - the Blueberry with chocolate left it quite bitter and not very delicious. I did enjoy the nuts within though - they were crunchy and fresh.

I did not enjoy the bitter chocolate, therefore was only able to eat part of the half with blueberries and nuts on it.

I would not purchase this bar again in the future, as it was just not to my liking - with or without the chocolate.

Perhaps if someone enjoys blueberries and bitter chocolate, this would be best suited to them.

I just recieved this sample pack today from Chickadvisor, I found the nuts a lil big in the bar and the blueberry almond flavouring was ok but not spectular! I would recommend it to a friend/family member but I wouldnt pick it up first in the grocery aisle.

I am not a fan of dark chocolate but the blueberry almond combination was good. Definitely worth purchasing again
