I find it much easier coloring hair by myself when using this color foam. I sometimes have to get the hubby to help with it because I don't want to miss spots. It is not as messy as the other types of hair colors and the coverage is much better. I think it is a great product and it will be one of my favorite ones to use. There is always lots of coupons for it.

I did not like this product. The product was runny and I found it difficult to coat my hair. The smell was also very strong and I did not feel it had enough conditioning agents as it left my hair very dry. The only upside was the 2 packets of conditioner that came with it were very good and did leave my hair feeling soft. But not enough for me to be convince to buy this product again. Don't waste your money, Nice and Easy has better products than this one.

I recently tried Nice n easy color blend foam.I was really surprised how easy it was to apply. After mixing the product it foams up through a squeeze bottle. It blends through the hair with ease it suggests to leave on 25 minutes I left it on a additional 10 minutes for gray hair.

I however was not impressed with the smell.I have dyed my hair many times and most dyes have decent smells this one was not pleasant. However after rinsing the smell is gone.I matched the color perfectly to my previous color and was happy it covered all my grays.I would recommend this product and I will buy this product again.

Once I got the color poured i shook the formula and activator together it got soooo foamy, then i attached the pump and squeezed the bottle to get the product out, it was actually a little bit runny , so I had to squeeze it directly on my hair. It did seem to thicken up after a few minutes, maybe I just needed it to sit for a bit before I started using it. This was just so easy to use I would recommend trying this to anyone who does their own hair at home and doesn't have access to salon dye.
This product needs 25 minutes to fully process on your hair, there are no drips with this while you are waiting. I have medium length hair that isn't very thick but I had tons of this left over, so for you who have long thick hair you could probably get away with only needing one box. I would for sure buy this again, it is my first time using Clairol so i hope the color doesn't fade to badly but for only $6.00 it was well worth it!

I received a freebie coupon for this product and was looking forward to trying it. For the record, the regular Nice 'N Easy is one of my favorite products. It leaves hair soft and shiny and the color has lots of dimension & highlights. And you can usually get it for a really good price. So I was looking forward to seeing how this product was improved over the non-foaming one. Sorry, but this product is a miss. The foaming aspect is just a gimmick and is more difficult and messier to apply. Despite rinsing thoroughly, this product left a residue on my scalp. When I dried my hair, the color was flat, dull and lacked dimension. There are better and less expensive products out there. For those using the regular Nice 'N Easy, don't bother switching.

    Pros: None
Cons: Messy to use; leaves a residue; very difficult to remove from skin; hair color flat with little dimension
Verdict: Give this a miss! This product was neither nice nor easy!

I don't often feel so compelled to write a review to the point that I absolutely MUST write it, but this product inspired me. This was THE worst hair coloring experience I have ever had in my life, and I have been coloring my hair since I was 14. I am not referring to the results (which I'll talk about in a minute), but the actual process.

I was excited to try this new product from Clairol. I thought the foam would be less messy, easy to use -- kind of like putting mousse in your hair. I was wrong. I was so wrong! First of all, don't expect a pump with this product (like I did). You mix it up like you would regular cream or gel hair color, then shake it a few times to make the foam, and then you squeeze the middle of the bottle to put the foam into your hands -- and it's hard to squeeze. I have fibromyalgia, and I could barely get through the whole coloring process, because I just didn't have the strength in my hands by the end of it.

I found I had to keep shaking the container to keep the product at a foamy consistency. The problem is, if you accidentally squeeze a little while you're shaking, the color splatters all over. It splatters anyhow just by the simple process of squeezing it into your hands. I was covered in hair dye, my bathroom door is now in need of a good paint job, it was on the floor, the toilet, the counter -- I am not exaggerating. It was that bad. It refused to come off of the door or my skin. It's the next day now, and I still have black splotches all over me. I actually cried I was so frustrated.

The product didn't even maintain a foamy consistency. Half of what came out in my hands was liquid. The first half of the squeeze was foam, but the second half looked like runny hair color. Once it's on your head, the whole concept of it being foam vanishes. The coverage was terrible, as well. It was stressful trying to make sure that all of my hair was covered.

Now, on to the results. I purchased a medium ash brown, and I am generally pretty happy with Nice 'N Easy's medium ash brown. After 25 minutes on my hair and a good rinse, my hair is almost black. I don't particularly mind this, but it wasn't what I was going for at all. The color looks nice enough, and it covered the few gray hairs that I have at the temples, but the color results were very far off.

The conditioner that came with product left my hair soft and shiny. That's something.

Oh, I forgot to mention -- it stung like crazy while it was on!

Nice n' Easy Color Blend Foam in Black

Retails for $8-10, available at drugstores.

    Directions are easy to follow.

Good packaging. I did not have any problems with it but I think some people would request for a pump.

The foam is light and airy.

Squeezing the entire bottle can be a little messy if you are not careful.

    Easy application.

You have more control with the foam, there are no drips. I now prefer foam hair dye to liquid.

I suggest that you still wear an old top when dyeing your hair, better safe than sorry.

This contains ammonium hydroxide but the scent is tolerable.

I left the color on for 25 minutes.

The Color Seal Conditioner has a pleasant and light floral scent.

I used two packets for my long and thick hair.

It conditions well and delivers shine, leaving my hair silky and smooth.

I did not get a clean rinse. It stained my white towel.

There will be no color transfer after three washes. I can live with that.

Nice n' Easy Color Blend Foam provides a rich and dimensional color, making my hair looking healthy and natural.

    Affordable.

    Available in 18 shades.

    Excellent coverage.

Brings out the natural tones and highlights of your hair.

Packaging and scent of the hair dye can be improved.

    I am giving this a 3.5 out of 5.

Actually, I don't know what all the hype was about )-: I never had a problem with the original formula dripping, but the ads sounded so good I thought I should give it a try. To be honest, I found it MORE messy! The applicator was a bit awkward to work with. As well, there are only 2 individual colour stay conditioning treatments rather than the tube which could last for 6 weeks. It was the same result in the end, but to me not worth the hoopla, or price. I'm going back to the original with the non-messy pointed tip.

I really like this product. It covers well, even for my thick long hair. It covered everything in about 10 minutes and I really like how I don't have to seperate my hair in chunks to do my roots first, then apply to the rest of my hair like a traditional colour. I freaked out a little bit when I saw the colour of the foam (bright orange) I chose 5RB, but it came out really nice. The only flaw to this product is that the smell of it is horrible. It smells kind of like wine, and it stung my eyes when I had it close to my face (doing my hairline). I really hope Clairol changes the scent. Other than that, I really liked it.

Cons: Doesn't foam up right, have to continually shake it, sprays everywhere when coloring, dries to quickly, limited color selection

Pros: Color pigment is good, long lasting color, give 2 packs of conditioner, covers gray really well, there is lots of product
