My skin is so smooth!

I got this product for free as part of a Butterfly review. My skin felt so refreshed after applying Clarins Double Serum. It's so smooth and silky! Only downfall for me is the fragrance, it smells nice but applying perfume to the face is a bit weird. I would definitely buy an unscented Clarins Double Serum if the price was significantly lower!

It's Okay

I received this free to try from Clarins and Butterly. I used it for 5 days before my review. The scent was clinical smelling, and I did not notice a difference at all in my face. in fact, I felt my skin was a bit drier than normal (however, it was only for 5 days.) The price point is quite high and I feel I can get better results from more affordable options.

Nice Serum .. Not sure it's for me

Thank you @thisisbutterly for providing me with a 7 day trial for free #gotitfree. As with most serums it's hard to say if they truly make a difference as most take time and this one is no different. I didn't see any significant changes however the serum does apply nicely and absorbs well into the skin. It has a nice scent but wouldn't call it overly fragranced. The reason I gave it only 3 stars was because I started to nice my face was feeling very itchy and almost dry like .. the rest of my skincare routine remained the same except for this serum, for that reason I wouldn't purchase this however I would still recommend it since it didn't irritate my sensitive skin.

Its alright

Okay, so right off the bat I enjoyed the smell of this product, although a bit strong. The serums themself were great texture and really nice to put on. They weren't greasy or oily and didnt leave any sticky residue on my skin. They absorb well and made my skin feel really soft and hydrated.

After 7 days of use, I can say I did notice my face being more radiant and hydrated, but I didnt see any change in fine lines or pores, which was a bit disappointing... but I imagine you would need to be using this for longer than a week to see any true results.

Really Good Product

I really liked this product and it was very nice to apply on my skin.  No irritating effects at all.  My skin felt and looked much more radiant and smooth after one application.   I didn't care for the smell of the product though.   #gotitfree #ClarinsSkinCare #DoubleSerum

Feels nice on skin

I like the feel of this serum, it hydrates well and leaves my skin glowy. I can’t say how well it works for fine lines & wrinkles because I only received a 7 day supply but it has a lot of skin care benefits that I look for in a serum.

It’s worth a try

I have to say 7 days isn’t very long to try a new skin care regimen but I noticed a smoothness after just 2 days. It is an oil base so if you’re prone to break outs or have oily skin try with caution. I enjoyed it and may buy some to see if it truly does help with fine lines. #gotitfree

Wanted to LOVE this but COULDN’T.

I got the Clarins Double Serum 7 day treatment sample in the mail from @thisisbutterly @chickadvisor @clarinscanada in exchange for my honest opinion. The Clarins Double Serum Complete Anti-Aging Concentrate (Hydric + Lipidic System) is a two-in-one formula that is similar to the skin’s hydrolipidic film, both water and oil soluble, with 21 potent plant extracts, for visibly smoother, firmer and more radiant skin.
The brand claims that it’s suppose to visibly reduce fine lines, wrinkles and promote skin firmness, visibly tighten pores, it also hydrates and smooths skin and helps repair and strengthen the skin barrier.
I was really excited about this product when I first got selected. I used the serum for 7 days straight despite getting tiny little acne bumps. My face felt really hydrated it gave me a glowy glass skin look which I really liked because I have sensitive, dull, dry winter skin but unfortunately the glowy glass look doesn’t last very long. After day 3 I started to notice tiny acne bumps on my cheeks and the fragrance really bothered me and irritated my nose. I’m also not the type to waste products so I tried my best to squeeze out every last drop. I do feel Clarins could have done a better job on the sample packages because I did struggle a little to take it all out. Sadly I will not be purchasing this serum not because it left my face with little tiny acne bumps but because of the fragrance. I felt it was a little too strong for me and fragrance doesn’t do too well with my skin which is why I broke out. I also felt that the serum didn’t do much for my face. It didn’t combat my fine lines on my forehead nor did it help with my smile lines, it didn’t tighten my pores or visibly firm my skin. It’s also on the pricey side. It’s very unfortunate as this was my first time using a product from Clarins but regardless I would like to thank @thisisbutterly @chickadvisor @clarinscanada for allowing me to try this product.

Was hydrating but is $$$

I have tried this product over the last week and like others have found it quite hydrating and the scent is mild as I am super sensitive to fragrance . I do not however see the point of mixing the 2 serums . Maybe I don’t understand the science behind it but it just seems gimmicky to me . Also the price on sephora was absolutely shocking . It was great that I got to try it for free because I never would pay that much for this product .

Not for me

I wasn’t really impressed with this serum product. The concept of having to mix the two products together is interesting but not really explained as to why. The sample packaging is kind of awkward to use and get the product out of. There is too much fragrance added for something that is supposed to contain all kinds of botanicals. I didn’t really see any difference in my skin after using it for a week and it made my skin breakout in a way that it hasn’t for over 15 years. I wouldn’t purchase this for myself. Not recommended for people with sensitive skin.
