Great as a toner

This is great as a toner and leaves my skin feeling fresh and plump. It did not dry my skin and strip it off it's natural oils. Easy to use and apply. Does not have a strong scent and I am happy that it contains salicylic acid in a great quantity (maximum strength available without prescription). It improved the appearance of my skin and helped manage my acne spots. would recommend.

Truly does help treat pimples but not sure about "

get pimples around my mouth (and very rarely between my eyebrows) and although I can't attest to how well this "prevents" them since I still get them a lot but I am very satisfied with how well it treats them and how they go away faster when I use this.
The only issue I have with this is that it slightly makes my eyes twitchy when I apply it but the feeling goes away in a matter of seconds and it's worth it for how it helps make my pimples go away.

Deep Cleaning !!!

This Clean & Clear deep cleaning astringent is a little too deep cleaning. I found with the clean and clear essentials facial foam this astringent was a little too much. My face felt tight, and dried out. I love the facial foam and use it everyday, so this astringent was only used if there was a bleamish. Which didn't happen often. One of my teen boys still has to wear a mask to work and he uses this astringent along with the cleansing foam day at night and he loves it. No mask break outs.

Deep Cleaning Action!

I recently had at the opporunity to try the Clean and Clear Essentials Deep Cleaning Astringent, in combination with the rest of this care line and I was so happy with the results. I waited about two weeks before writing this review to see if I could actually notice a difference in my acne and I'm happy to report I do think this line up worked wonderfully! I would suggest using this astringent in combination with the other products in the line to receive the best results- -- You will especially need to make sure to moisturize after using this product. The astringent works great for your acne but it will dry you out if you don't use the moisturizer as well.

Great product!

I actually was quite surprised by this deep cleaning astringent. I expected it to dry out my face but it didn’t. It’s step two to be used after the cleanser so I followed that routine and haven’t seen any new breakouts ! Will continue to use this product and would definitely recommend.

Deep cleanser

It’s always great to do a deep cleanse and this product definitely helps. As I have a very dry face, I don’t use this every day. I would probably use it more often if I ever developed a lot of acne. Still a great product though to help prevent those red spots.

Oil Free

I seldom use astringent so i don't have much to say. It does the work but very gentle on the skin. You can feel the difference after every use. A must try!

Effective

I received this product for free from Butterly and it was used by my 13 years old daughter.
She-uses the clean and Clear astringent after she washes her face with a prescription cleanser. The cleaner does an excellent job of getting any lingering dirt off her face. Astringent does not sting and it does not dry out her skin. It must be noted that her skin is naturally very oily. I can’t say that it clears up acne because my daughter uses several other products in her routine so it’s hard to pinpoint which one is responsible for clearing the acne. But it is definitely worth a try.

Deep cleaning astringent

This helped get all the leftover build up and oil on my face. It is perfect to make sure the skin is cleaned and ready for the rest of the routine. I found this really helped my acne settle down. It is perfect for those crazy break outs that you can't control. So thank you for creating such a powerful get gentle product for my oily skin.

Amazing product
