Clinique makes better products

I am basing my review on two samples I received in bonus bags from Clinique.

The jelly does give you a quick hydration boost, and it is a pretty color with these interesting pearls. But the hydration fades quickly and the product feels sticky on your hands, tacky on your face and takes a while to absorb. I don't feel it's worth mixing with my moisturizer.

Clinique makes other, much better hydrating products and moisturizing products.

OK product

I applied this product after i cleansed my face and i was not too impressed. My face was left feeling a bit sticky afterwards. While my face does not feel ‘dry’ it also doesnt feel super moisturized or hydrated, no big difference. I suggest using a different product.

Not so supercharged

I know Clinique is a reputable brand that I trust and have had success with in the past. Given the fact that I experience breakouts in some areas, yet have dry, flaky skin on my nose, I thought this product would work. It's not oil based, and comes in a gel so I figured it wouldn't clog my pores. It did deliver on that aspect and didn't cause my skin to break out, but in my very dry areas, it didn't get the job done. My skin was still flaky and dry. I am disappointed given it's a bit pricey and Clinique is usually a good brand.
