CDN base coat - Good but...

I was lucky to get to try CND™ Creative Play™ Base Coat, Top Coat and Nail Lacquer in CRIMSON LIKE IT HOT through the Product Review Club.
CND Baswe coat is everything you can expect from a base coat: beige color, smooth and easy application, fast drying. Then after one coat of base, as recommended, I applied 2 coats of lacquer and one coat of top coat.
Even though this review is for the base coat, it is difficult to separate it from the whole system.
While I enjoyed the base coat, as well as the lacquer and topcoat, I have to y that I was a bit disappointed in the durability.
If I spend the money on 3 products and the time to apply the three, I expect my polish to last more than a traditional single color polish, and it was not really the case. It started chipping after 2-3 days, just like a normal polish.

Base coat!

I applied the nude coloured base coat prior to the pink polish. It was a nice tone and applied fairly well. I received it for free for testing purposes!

Dries fast

I #gotitfree for the product review club. This is a great base coat that dries very quickly and also dries clear. I felt that it really did help my nail polish stay on longer as well. It doesn't have the usual chemical smell and I will definitely be trying it with other colours.

Works like any basecoat

It does it's job and coats very nicely. Very easy to apply and coats evenly. Dries in minimal time and effective at keeping a barrier for the nail polish on top.

Good Protection

I was given the opportunity to try CND CREATIVE PLAY BASE COAT recieved from Chick Advisor. It dries very quickly and offered my nails a nice layer of protection from nail lacquer. I will definifitely be purchasing in the future.

Love it

I like that it’s very thin layer of base coat that gives a very natural looking nail. It doesn’t cause the polish to smudge. It dries fairly quickly. Would recommend it to all my friends.

Cute polishes!

The base coat was easy to apply. I don't usually do a base coat when I am applying a nail polish.
I'm not sure if it helped make the color pop more or not. It dried pretty quick too so that was nice.

A great start !

The base coat does what it is supposed to do. Applies well and smooth over the nail and isnt too thick. A bit of a strong smell. Dried fairly quickly to allow the lacquer to be applied. #gotitfree

Loved the application, but the colour has to go

The brush and the application of the nail polish was similar to what you would expect from a salon quality brand such as opi. The colour, however, was terrible. I received a dark blue: usually I like to wear pinks or nudes so this was really an uncomfortable colour for me

Good basecoat

I think that this is a great base coat. It does it’s job in keeping the polish on longer and preps the nail. I would like it more if it had strengthening properties to keep the nail strong while also preping the nail for colour.
