Just started using this stuff as a cheaper and at-home alternative to shallac nails. It goes on great like a high quality nail polish (I like Essie as well but it chips) and actually lasts at least a week! I do work in an office environment so my nails don't go through a lot of abuse. I bought 2 colours and of course the top coat and I have almost already forgotten about my vast nail polish collection.
Although these brand of nail polishes can run pretty pricey, they are so worth it!
There are over 70 colours to choose from
The applicator brush is squared and and a bit bigger than other nail polishes which makes application easier
They're are fast drying
and the best part is they do exactly what they say they do-THEY LAST AT LEAST A WEEK
No more chipped nails by day 2 or 3
CND has these vinylux nail colors that endures a week of application, without a base coat.
VINYLUX dried naturally and real fast. It gave a flawless finish and I found it pretty pigmented, therefore didn't apply the second coat. So far It didn't chip either. great prices on Amazon.com
Give it a try !
When applied with CND Vinylux Topcoat, they claim that Vinylux shades lasts for a week on the nails. Vinylux is a simple two step process that requires no base coat and is applied like regular polish. You have to apply apply 2 layers of colour then apply Vinylux Topcoat. With natural light exposure the Vinylux Topcoat gets more durable resulting in a week long manicure. Price: $11.95 for the polish and $11.95 for the top coat.
I find that it worked well. Both my mother-in-law and myself tried it. It lasted well over a week for her, for me it lasted about 4 days (but it was not a really sunny day when I put it on, so maybe that had something to do with it). The polish was easy to put on and it dried quickly. The Gilded pleasure color was gorgeous and I got tons of compliments on my nails. Definitely worked better than regular nail polish. I would buy it again
