My mouth feels so clean

At first the colour of the toothpaste threw me off (gray) but as I used it I noticed my mouth was feeling so more fresh. I will definitely get it again.

Interesting dark coloured toothpaste

Although it is a nice toothpaste, I feel that it's focused more on deep cleaning rather than whitening. The black color and texture can look a little messy in your sink if not properly rinsed out.

Great Toothpaste

This charcoal toothpaste is great! It has a great minty flavor and cleans my teeth really well. I didn't find the charcoal too harsh or irritating. The one thing that does catch me off guard is the charcoal in the sink: where I do find it a bit more difficult to clean then a blue or green tinted toothpaste: where this is why I've put 4 stars but this is a personal preference. Overall a really great product and is something different.

Great product, affordable price, great results

I was skeptical to use this product when I first received it. I wasn’t sure I would see/feel the benefits that it typically lists. To my surprise, it has been a great toothpaste. My teeth make me feel as though they “sparkle” and feel so clean! I notice a difference in how my teeth feel whereas before I would have some sensitivity to cold items. My teeth have adjusted and I really enjoy using this product. I even have my son use the product who typically has bad breath, after using it for a few days, his breath has improved! Win win!

Great

Was a little turned off at first because the toothpaste is a grey colour but after trying it I would definitely buy it again. It really foams up in the mouth and makes it feel like your getting a good cleaning. Not too strong of a mint flavour which I prefer.

Decent toothpaste

I found this to be a good toothpaste. It tastes good and does a great job to get teeth clean. It lathers up nicely with brushing. My only negative is that it did not give that long lasting fresh mint taste in my mouth.

Minty Charcoal paste

This paste was good. Minty taste, and a typical paste consistency. Low foam, and did a good job cleaning my teeth and mouth. All in all a good choice for everyday people wanting to try Charcoal paste.

Clean and Sparkly

After using for a couple weeks I can attest that my teeth feel clean. I must say though it took me a bit to get used to the colour of the paste. I knew what to expect but years of using a green/white toothpaste led to a transition time to see grey in the sink. Once you get past that though it's great!

No leftover black stains

Didn't leave any left over black stains on teeth from the added charcoal. This was my primary concern with trying a charcoal based toothpaste product.

I received this product for free from Colgate and Butterly in exchange for my honest review.
I don't have sensitive gums and I regularly use whitening toothpastes. I have been trying the Colgate Total Charcoal toothpaste for the past week and I haven't noticed any changes to my teeth in terms of colour or sensitivity. I was concerned that the charcoal would be too abrasive and increase the sensitivity in my gums but I didn't have any issues with this toothpaste. It's a mild mint taste and it's not overbearing.
