Wanted to like it, but it didn't hold up!

I have been looking to try an all natural deodorant, and as my go-to deodorant is by Dove, I was intrigued to try Dove Care By Plants. Unfortunately, I did not care for this one. The sandalwood scent was overpowering and it was all I could smell for hours after application. It is gentle and moisturizing. It did not irritate me, even after shaving. However, my underarms felt tacky for quite awhile, which was an unpleasant feeling. Also, it definitely does not provide odour protection for 24 hours, at least on me. It did not stand up to sweating or warm weather. I would not recommend this deodorant. I will keep looking for a natural alternative.

Natural Deodorant, Strong Scent

I was grateful for the opportunity to try Dove Care by Plants Deodorant in Sandalwood thanks to ChickAdvisor, Butterly, and Dove. It didn't work well for me, but I appreciated the 99% natural origin, aluminum free, paraben free, baking soda free formula and the sandalwood scent. I was hopeful that a deodorant would work for me, but with the amount I sweat, I really need a combination anti-perspirant and deodorant. I might still keep trying to use this deodorant at home when I know I'm not going to be sweating as much, and perhaps my body will get used to it. I'm not sure I would recommend this to others, but if you're looking for a natural deodorant, don't sweat much, and enjoy the smell of sandalwood, it could be worth a try. On the plus side, this didn't irritate my skin at all, so it's consistent with Dove's other deodorants that are gentle on the skin.
