Good deodorant and great new packaging

At one point Dove deodorants didn’t work for me. It didn’t cover my BO so I stopped using them and switched to clinical deodorant. Ive stoped using clinical deodorants that have aluminum and switched to natural deodorants. The deodorant is a gel, it goes on clear and yes as the package says there’s no aluminium, but my understanding is that there never was in this formula. I was able to use it for everyday and also when working out. It held up, no BO smell, just fresh cucumber scent. The best part about this is the new metal packaging. This is great! So must less plastic is being used. I’ve never understood why womens deodorants have so much less product in them, they are only ever 1|2 filled. It’s a waste of space and now we don’t have to deal with excess plastic. The only plastic that’s now used is to house the deodorant capsule. The metal holder looks good, it’s weighty and functional. Very impressed of the update

Great Idea!

First off, I love the idea of a refillable deodorant! I really liked the stainless steel container. It is something that looks great sitting out on a shelf, it doesn’t need to be hidden away! Putting the refill onto the base was very easy, just twist it on. The scent was very nice and lasted all day. The only thing I did not like was that it left my underarms feeling tacky all day. It was a very uncomfortable feeling that I just couldn’t get over.

Help the environment

I like the idea of helping the planet with a refillable deodorant but at what cost to the consumer? I received the @Dove refillable deodorant in cucumber and green tea from @chickadvisor. The starter pack comes with the stainless steel case and 32g of deodorant which is close to half the amount you would get from a regular deodorant bar. This is the major downside I see as this would result in buying refills more frequently. However, the size is better for travelling or keeping in your purse as it is also stylish. I think that if you are not a diehard dove fan, this product would not make sense to purchase. If you are though, this stainless steel case comes with a lifetime guarantee.

The one upside to the packaging is the plastic pack that keeps the refill fresh is 98% recycled plastic. I did like the smell of this product and the deodorant was very moisturizing. I would like this product better if they offered an antiperspirant option as well as I felt this deodorant didn’t leave me smelling fresh through the day let along 48 hours. I wonder how difficult it would be to find the refill packs and whether they are more expensive then buying similar plastic free products on the market. #gotitfree #productreviewclub

Beautifully designed refillable deodorant

Dove's refillable deodorant starter kit is such a treat! It was a lot of fun to put the deodorant together by twisting the pod and locking it into the base. The deodorant case feels quite sturdy and is well designed. However, I noticed that the lid for my case slides up a bit over time and I had to push it back down to close it several times. The deodorant works well and smells great. I would like to buy it again and try other scents in the future. I'm happy to be able to reuse the case and help the environment.

Smell amazing

I love the overall concept of this product. The cucumber and green tea scent smells amazing.

After multiple uses, I have not had any issues with this. I like that you can buy refills for this and it doesn’t contain aluminum

Great Deo!

I used this deo for several days and I liked it! I feel fresh because of the scent and doesn't feel sweat. It is easily to use and glide. I love the idea of a refillable deo, but for this one, the stick broke easily.

Love the reusable packaging

The container is so well made, it’s compact yet holds some good weight to it. I have been leaning into using less plastic in my day-to-day life and this was a great addition. It’s not the scent I would have chosen, but none the less, I’m impressed! Also live the 0% aluminum!

A new idea for staying fresh and reducing packing

This Dove refillable deodorant is a great idea to help reduce packaging in a world with increasing climate change. Anything that helps reduce waste is a great idea. The product itself was lightly scented, so as not to interfere with any perfume you may use. Application was smooth and odor was kept away. I found that it did need to be applied daily so the 48 hour freshness did not work with me. My only concern as I have seen with other products that are refillable, is that the concept is not long lasting and finding refills can be a challenge. Worth a try and worth the attempt to reduce packaging.

Nice

I absolutely love this produc. Its sustainable and eco friendly. I loved that my favourite brand of dévorant came with an alternative way of producing less plastic waste and without aluminum too ont their products. However I do feel like the prices for the refills are a bit too high than what I would normally purchase.

Great new look and feel

I received the Dove Refillable Deodorant Kit and was surprised at the new look. I love that it's now more environmentally friendly and you just need to buy the refills instead of the whole deodorant each time. The stainless steel case that comes with it makes it durable and compact so you can take it anywhere. It smells great however it doesn't last as long as I'd have liked it to. Definitely needed to reapply during the day.
