Makes my mani last

This top coat makes my home done manicure last over 2 weeks no matter what nail polish is used underneath. It is also very thick on the nail and I enjoy that. It is finicky though. You must apply slowly and use a lay and smooth technique rather than swiping to avoid streaks and air bubbles. I find a thick application lays down nicer than a thin. I find the bottle is only fluid enough to use until it is half full and then you have to throw it away.

Pretty good top coat

I was in dire need of a top coat and was on a budget, so I picked this up as it was on sale. What I like about it is that it can work with or without gel nails, so it's versatile. You don't need the whole lamp set up for it to work. It's sets nicely on just regular polish.

Makes my pedicures go from lasting 5 days to at least 12 which is no easy feat in the summer. I find that a little goes a long way and I love how it just makes whatever color I'm using shine though and though. Love Essie!

When I first bought this, it worked great. It still does work relatively good, however, I find that the product has lost the same texture it had when I first purchased it. It is not very old, maybe a few months old, and the product has thickened over time. It is getting very difficult to use. It is too thick to spread on the nails, and from time to time, it will dry with tiny little bubbles on the nail. If it wasn't for the bubbling, and texture change, it actually does look and feel like a gel nail without exposing your skin to the UV lights and glue that fake nails bring. It shines great, helps keep the polish on longer, and looks great!

If you want a salon quality (and maybe better) mani this is the product you NEED. My manicures last all week with no chips, no problems! I combine it with drying drops and it looks likes my nails just left a salon! Fast drying and long lasting!

Couche de finition qui imite les vernis de salon! Sèche vite et scelle comme du gel demeure longtemps. Le prix est un peu cher mais en vaut la peine car reste une semaine au moins. Ce vernis finition rentabilise votr vernis carrément.

I really wanted to love this product. I have been looking for a durable nail polish for ages and its just not happening for me!
I work with my hands all day long making jewellery so i may be harder on my nails than most others.
I have tried the gel setter with an essie brand base coat and colour, and I have tried it with an other brand as well. Its really made no difference in durability. Within 2 hours my polish was chipped and I was reaching for the remover.

If you are easier on your hands than I am, this product may work well for you.
It goes on smoothly, dries quickly and has a beautiful high gloss sheen.

I think its worth a shot, but it doesn't work miracles.

With a lot of nail Polishes for me they end up chipping off within 12hrs. This one last a longer time.
