I do like the hydration this offers and the fact that it provides a little bit of tint. Some of the colours are much nocer than others and the price is pretty high. I always have a few tubes of it around but I am not totally loyal to it.

I also received this product in 2 sample sizes as a birthday gift from Sephora a few years ago. I loved it and used it everyday for a little while but then it broke, in the tube and I couldn't put it back. So I was thankful that I got to try such a fancy splurge item, but I am not willing to buy it with my own money. There are a lot of other lip treatments on the market that I would rather use and they are less expensive.

I've recently become obsessed with trying out lip balms because of an allergic reaction that has left my lips super flaky, dry and irritated.

I have the Fresh Sugar Lip Treatment in Berry, it provides decent colour but I don't think it's much better than drugstore lip balms I've tried so it's hard to justify its hefty price tag. It provides decent moisture to my lips but I can't say it stops them from being chapped or flaky (nothing I've tried so far has done the job). It also has a faint chemical smell that I hate but once applied to the lips, you can't tell. The product itself is really soft, so it can be easily squished to the side of the packaging which I don't like. I think I would appreciate it more in a tube than a stick formula.

TLDR: Average product, definitely a splurge item.

I too received this as a birthday present from Sephora. I wanted to like it so bad because I've seen it around and the packaging is so chic. Unfortunately I will not be purchasing this product. Although I did like the tint that the pink one gave my lips the actual product was disappointing. You can not leave this product anywhere remotely warm (inside your pocket, in the car) because it instantly melts and creates a huge mess.
Upon reaching the end of the product the last little bit just fell right apart and also created a huge mess. I just felt like it wasn't worth the trouble.
It does feel nice when on the lips though but not more than any other lip balm.

I received this from sephora as my bday gift this year. The packaging is nice and sleek. On first impression I loved it but after a few wears I definitely wont be purchasing it. You don't get much of a tint with the red & the smell wasn't up my alley. It moisturized my lips for about an hour and then I needed to reapply again. IMO it's not worth the full price.

I bought this product after my EOS lip balm ran out.
I can’t say I’m completely in love. I’m a very specific lip balm girl, it needs to be super moisturizing, include SPF, and be in stick form (I find pot lip balms kinda annoying). After lots of research, I decided to pick up this one. The price, as everyone has mentioned, is a big turn off….almost 30 dollars. But lip chap is one of the more frequented items in my makeup bag, so I thought it would be worth it.

The formula is very thick, and it does moisturize. I find that when I smack my lips to distribute the balm, it starts to get dry closer to my mouth area. I have no idea why…more movement? The outer parts of my lips stay nice and moisturized though.
So this is a coin toss for me…it does work well enough…but not exactly what I’m looking for. I don’t think I’ll repurchase.
