Would definitely use again

This is my first experience with bleaching my own hair, something I'd previously been too afraid to do. One thing that shocked me right away was how easy it was. It wasn't any more complicated than dying your hair at home.

The instructions were nice and clear, my only complaint would be that when you dye your hair you usually wipe the parts around your forehead and hairline. I did that, but I think too enthusiastically as some of those parts didn't bleach as well and remained a bit darker. I wish the instructions had been clearer on not doing that, but I know for next time so that I don't overwipe those parts!

The results was very nice and a lot lighter than expected. My hair didn't feel too damaged and while it got a little brassy over the following days, I was very pleased with the initial result!

I LOVED this product.

My roots lightened up so fast; my only complaint is that the faded blue of my hair did not light up a whole bunch.
But I was so happy with this product!

Great lightener, worked amazing

This hair lightener actually worked wonders. I have had bad experiences in the past with different lighteners, but this one was a positive experience the whole way though.
What I will say is that this was very easy to apply, and did not irritate at all. I did a test on a spot of skin, as well as on a part of my hair prior to, and was impressed. This was a great beginning to the overall hair process.
What I really liked is how bright it made my hair, it did not leave any brassy tones, or orangey results. It did exactly what it said.

Overall, I was very impressed with this product. Although I #gotitfree, that does not sway my opinion in anyway. I would repurchase this, and will recommend it to my hair dying friends!

So worth it!

I haven't used dye or bleach on my hair or weave in years, so it was really refreshing to test this product. It worked extremely well! The instructions were easy to follow and understand, it came with all the utensils you needed, and it worked effectively. In my opinion 1 box makes a decent amount bleach to bleach your ends, or a full head of short to medium length hair. Ohh and it even came with purple color treatment for bleached her, winner! I will definitely be purchasing this again!

got2b Lightened

I love this product so much. Thanks to Chick Advisor & #got2b for allowing me to try this product. For someone who has long thick hair it's always a nightmare when a salon hair dye takes 4 hours or more for them to bleach and dye the hair.

This product is amazing. Instructions are clear, precise and easy to follow. For someone with bust length hair there was more than enough product to cover my whole head of hair while having a little bit left over. I put this on over my dark brown roots and they lifted completely within 10 minutes. I had 7 months fading green hair and this helped lift the color to a pale green color which was nice.

Will be using this product on my hair to lighten my dark roots before going to the salon to help save me time in the chair and money.

Bleach made easy

I received this product for free as part of the product review club #gotitfree and actually was a bit hesitant to leave it on for the full time so ended up washing out after about 10 or 15 minutes. I have dark hair and was looking for a more subtle change before applying the got2b creative red. Of course this is bleach so smells awful but just make sure you are in a room with a fan / window. Worked really well and was the perfect amount of lightening effect before the temporary colour. Didn’t feel harsh on my hair and the conditioner was really nice.

I've never bleached my own hair before, so this was a little scary, but it was so easy that I'll definitely try this again! I got this for free from the product review club. I have to say, I don't know that it lightened my hair as much as I thought it would, but I have very dark hair. After leaving the dye in for as long as it told me to, I ended up with a honey sort of colour in my hair, but pretty far from blonde. Luckily, I was going over it with a bright red, so it didn't matter. The red turned out perfect afterwards, so no complains on that one. This did exactly what I needed to. Thank you!

Wow that's truly light!

PROS: This bleach was very effective in lightening my jet black kinky hair, allowing my hair to take the bright colour that was to follow.
CONS: Even with short hair, once you have kinky or curly hair, you will need at least 2 boxes to get enough coverage for your hair. Because I have a tapered cut, the shorter part of my hair was much brighter then the top, so I would recommend starting with the thicker parts of your hair if you have a tapered cut as well.
Overall this was a frightening and fun learning experience. I'm definitely glad that I found a way to cover the mismatched colours, but now know when I'm ready to go bright again, I have a brand in mind and some experince. But would definitely get some help from a firend in the future, or go to a professional.
