The first time I used I use this shampoo, my scalp was so itchy afterwards. This completely turned my off from using it, but about a week ago I decided to give it another shot. The itchiness has gone away and instead my hair feels so clean. It also smells so great. My suggestion is to only use a little bit of the shampoo at once because it foams up and you don't need a whole palm full to clean your hair. My hair is shiny and I get so many compliments on it now, my boyfriend even says it smells great. My family loves using it too and now we can wear black with no fear! Would definitely purchase in the future.

One winter my scalp got dry and I started to use head and shoulders. I find it works really well for mild dandruff or dry scalp. I think if you had some scalp condition or chronic dandruff it wouldn't work as well. I like the way it makes my hair shine and the smell is pretty decent as well, only downside is it costs like $6 almost and I don't find that it lasts long, especially with long hair.

A very "average" shampoo. Yes, it leaves hair soft (Many drugstore shampoos contain wax..that is what leaves the hair feeling so soft.) I get very bad dandruff in the winter. I do not find regular use of this shampoo to help relieve this. The scent is okay, not too strong but not a "pretty" smelling shampoo either. Like I said, an average shampoo.

I find this shampoo to be average. It works just like any other shampoo I have used. I don't have dandruff to begin with so can't really comment on the effectiveness of that. Probably better off to buy a high quality conditioner to use with this shampoo instead.

My favourite shampoo, when I stop using it my head gets fairly itchy. It also doesn't leave my sir greasy like other shampoos and actually makes my hair look clean.

I felt like it actually gave me dandruff, and I have heard other people feel the same. I mean I do have a problem with dandruff to begin with, however all it takes is a hydrating shampoo to get rid of it, its just dry scalp, however using this shampoo, gave me so much more dandruff, I guess its not hydrating / moisturizing enough?

I actually love this shampoo, even though growing up I though it was for 'older people' :). It always leaves my hair silky, non-itchy, but I made the mistake of using it eveytime I shampooed for months. After that, I dound my hair got damaged and dry. Now, I use it only once a week and my hair is better then ever.

Sometimes I like to change it up and when I just want a regular shampoo you know... not one that has special scents or boasts about volume or reparing, etc. I choose this product bc it lathers well, it smells good and it leaves my hair soft enough. I don't have dandruff so I don't know if that works or maybe it does then lol but ya I just gave that part an average rating for effectiveness.

I constantly use this shampoo on my 8 yr old. She always gets dry scalp and after a couple shampoos it's completely cleared up! The smell is nice and it still gives her hair good moisture so I ccan brush through it easily !
