Oh so good

Joico hydrasplash moisturizing shampoo was amazing. It kept my hair moisturized for days.. yes I did a gross experiment.. I have the kind of hair you cannot wash every day anyway. It stayed nourished and well moisturized for at least 4 days when I definitely had to wash it. It was still as though I had washed it yesterday though. Amazing! Never, ever seen a product last like that!

Silky smooth hair

I used this product in combination/alternately with the conditioner as well the mask. It left my hair silky and I received compliments on how shiny my hair looks. The scent is neutral and clean. I really liked it and would recommend to a friend.

Great shampoo to use

I received this product to try for free, and I was glad I did! I've not tried anything from Joico prior to this, and to be honest, have not heard of this line before. I like that this shampoo leaves my hair feeling soft and smooth, and especially in this harsh winter, keeps my hair hydrated as well. The only drawback would that the presence of SLS in the ingredient list. It might not be a problem if you are not sensitive to SLS, but since I found I tend to be, I'm reaching for this shampoo less.

I have dealt with drier hair for just about as long as I can remember, and while I do have a decent amount of hair, it's finer in texture. Most products designed for dry hair end up being too heavy. That said, I was really impressed with the fact that a shampoo could be both really cleansing, and add some moisture back in the process. I didn't really believe a shampoo alone could do such a thing, so I did use it on its own. Yes, it's even better when paired with conditioner, but for a shampoo, I did notice a difference. The only thing I would love to see changed is an additional SLS-free formula (aka something safe for coloured hair.)

Honestly, I only used it once. Why? because the fragrance is so strong it gave me a headache to keep using these products all together. I've used a lot of joico products but it seems very hit and miss with the fragrance. Though, it doesn't smell bad its just too strong. I brought it up last time i reviewed their products also. My hair dresser also mentioned it's the reason he doesn't use their products anymore. Tone it down.

The shampoo it's self is pretty standard. I have used other joico shampoo/conditioners together and felt an instant difference after one wash, this didn't do that. I honestly don't think this line is nearly as good as the defy damage line.

No Frizz and No Problems!

Being a natural haired curly girl the one thing that I automatically suffer from is frizz. I noticed immediately after using this line that when my hair dried naturally that I did not have any frizz at all. I really like how this shampoo lathers up and the fresh, almost cologne-like, scent.

Great shampoo between washes

I usually alternate my hair products due to having coloured hair and between my purple shampoo washes I started trying this one out.

Since my hair is coloured, it’s been pretty dry and this shampoo has been helping to bring some hydration back into it. It lathers really well and I really like the different packaging used for this to differentiate between shampoo and conditioner.

Foams Up Nice!

My hair is thick so I used a few squeezes from the bottle. It foamed up real nice and soapy allowing me to deep clean my entire scalp thoroughly  & girl let me tell you how gooood this line smells.

The scent got me!

The most notable feature of this shampoo is the scent. It smells great, like a fresh cologne. A small amount goes a long way, and it lathers up nicely. The scent tends to linger on the hair for a day or two after which is nice. It did a good job cleaning my hair, but I did not notice any difference compared to any other shampoo I've used recently.

Clean scent!

The hydrating shampoo doesn't leave my hair feeling dry at the end of a wash. The scent is cologne-like, which I really like. My hair feels soft and smells fragrantly after every wash!
