Super matte

I love all of Kat Von d products but this foundation was not for me. It was so matte that my skin felt so dry I couldn't do anything else with it. The coverage ended up making my skin look more snake scale like.

Great shade range but is too cakey

I was able to find the perfect shade for my pale skin tone. The coverage is great, but throughout the day the product looks cakey and terrible on my skin. It doesn't matter which primer I use or if I mix it with a different foundation.

Undecided on this foundation

I am confused with this foundation. It is not the easiest to apply as it is a very thick dry consistency so you have to work very quickly to blend evenly. It is medium coverage and once it is blended it is a nice finish that actually lasts all day without oxidizing or breaking up. But the application is a struggle.

Was not impressed

I was not impressed with the Kat von d foundation. It's too thick , and goes on cakey. It's also quite expensive. I'd buy a different brand before I'd buy this again.

Too Thick

Left me feeling like I had cake face after just one layer. It covered very well but was just so thick it felt strange on my face. The shade ranges are great for those with pale skin! It's very matte so I don't recommend it for dry skin.

Meh...

I had really high expectations for this foundation but unfortunately, they weren't met. The color seemed great at first but after a while, it starts oxidizing and it made me look darker. Also, I don't think it controls oil/greasiness that much. But then again, I have oily skin, so maybe this foundation just wasn't the right one for me.

for me this is kinda mehi find it like stage makes up super high coverage but also very drying on my skin i baught and returned this one it just wasnt for me but someone with scaring or oily skin would probably love this option

This is a great product. Excellent coverage for moderate skin discoloration. Not super thick and cakey. The only problem I have with it is that it can be a little drying. I tend to have fairly dry skin in the winter and this foundation highlights that fact.

I was so excited to try this, and I'm glad I got it as a present and didn't have to pay for it myself. I read tons of reviews and watched tons of videos of this foundation and I thought it'd be a holy grail foundation for me; because I suffer from acne scarring and redness; however that was not the case. It didn't cover hardly anything. I applied it with a brush and a beauty blender and neither was better coverage. It also made under my eyes sting... I overall just wasn't happy with this product. Maybe it's how I applied it? I'm not sure, I'm open to tips on how others apply it.
But I would most likely not buy this.

I heard such good reviews on this foundation, I wanted to try it for myself, before splurging on it, I got a sample from sephora. I always moisturize, I tried this with and without a primer and I got the same results. I looked dry. Didn't get the coverage I wanted. The foundation is thick, easy to blend out.
