First Time User Of La Roche-Posay

This is the first product I've tried from La Roche-Posay, and I instantly loved the fresh appearance of the bottle + the dropper for application.

This anti-aging, repairing and hydrating face serum contains pure hyaluronic acid and vitamin B5! Just a little goes a long way and you only need a few drops to make your skin actually feel plumper!!!

The serum feels like a water-gel and is absorbed quickly as long as not too much is applied. And the scent is very refreshing!

What stands out the most?
It sits perfectly underneath make-up, leaving a slightly dewy look without ever causing smears!

Works well!

I really love this serum, it works very well.
I find it sticky and it doesn't absorb the best but the results are great. I also don't like the dropper; I find where the serum is so sticky it's hard to get a full dropper full and I have to rub the dropper on my fingers to get product out.

Good serum but expensive

I received a deluxe sample of this product. It was meant to be for 8 days but I managed to use it longer as you really need a small amount. The consistency is almost watery and absorbs well onto the skin. It left a little bit of tacky sensation but of course it goes away once you apply your moisturizer. I also loved the delicate scent. The only downside is the price - $49 for 30ml. Overall I recommend this product to keep your skin healthy and moisturized!

Great repairing product.. but not worth the price

This is a serum formulated with hyaluronic acid and vitamin B5 (the panthenol family) which are great ingredients and are supposed to give you healthy-looking, supple skin. Even though this is great formula, both of those ingredients are cheap and widely used in a lot of other product with better price tags. However, La Roche-Posay is a great derma brand and you are almost guaranteed a non-sensitizing product.

Became part of my shower routine

Feel in love with this product. Got a free sample and it is definitely a keeper. I love the dropper it comes with, really helped me to make sure I got the same coverage all over my face. I put it all over my face but gave extra focused on my nose, under eye and forehead. It left my skin feel moistized and soft. Has a very flowery smell but I loved it. I'm 28 so I don't have any wrinkles yet but I'm hoping by using this product I can hold them off for as long as I can lol.

Not my favourite serum

This hydrating serum does what it's supposed to do, it left my feeling nice and hydrated. However, the consistency of this serum is much too thick for oilier skin types like mine. I prefer a more watery serum for all over my face to hydrate. It has a pretty pleasant smell that I think most people would find enjoyable.

On the fence product.

I started using the HYALU B5 Serum a little over a week ago. I mostly used it in the evenings under my nighttime skincare, and found it to absorb quickly with a very slight tacky feeling to the skin; which can be common with serums containing Hyaluronic Acid. My skin looked smoother and felt firmer temporarily. I found using day and night to be a little drying on my skin. I have normal to dry skin (more dry during winter) with alcohol being the third ingredient listed, it’s not a product I’d want to use twice a day. This product also contains fragrance; the only fragrance I can smell is a slight chemical scent. I’m going to continue to use this until it’s empty but I’m not sure I’d purchase another. I’d recommend this to anyone curious about trying this product to get a sample first to see how their skin reacts.

Leaves my skin feeling refreshed.

This serum feels very refreshing when applied to my skin. Especially the surrounding eye area.It does feel slightly tacky at first but that feeling eventually goes away. My skin seems to drink this up making it look nice and plump. It seems to soothe my skin and leave it looking more even toned. It works well for my normal to combination skin but I personally think if you have dry skin you would still need to wear a cream underneath. This does wear well under other creams as well as makeup. I find La Roche Posay products to be very gentle on the skin and their products have never cause me any irritation. Although this serum is reasonably priced I probably wouldnt repurchase it unless it was on sale because it's just not my holy grail.

Very hydrating!

La Roche Posay's HYALU B5 CARE goes very well with the Hyalu B5 Serum. The product is very hydrating, so a little goes a long way. It goes on easy and absorbs well. It has a nice light scent.
