I bought this hairspray because I received a $5 off coupon in the mail and figured I would give this product a try finally since it was quite expensive $15.99. I love too style my hair and I need a ton of volume and hold. I have a hard time finding a good drugstore hairspray so I figured for the price and that it was L'oreal It would work good. I like that the smell is very light, not overwhelming at all. The big issue I had with this hairspray was it didn't hold my hair in place at all. I had curled my hair in ringlets for a dance and it didn't even hold for an hour. So I had too redo my hair and apply a different hairspray.

This hairspray would be good for fly aways or for a very light hold but if your doing something dramatic or doing back combing this hairspray will not hold for that. It does state on the bottle "very volume" but it did nothing at that sort. And for $15.99 a bottle I would expect a lot more from the product. Unfortunately I won't be buying this again

Worth paying a couple of extra dollars for something better. Was disappointed in this product as I heard great reviews from friends and colleagues. I have a straight across fringe and find this product much too greasy. The heaviness also adds extra weight which I certainly don't need. The smell is much too strong for something out of an aerosol can. Definitely not a fan.

Really like the light-weight feel of this product. It doesn't leave hair feeling crunching like some other hair sprays. But a really big con for me is the smell. I really don't care for the baby-powder scent.

Initially bought this hair spray solely for the smell . Does not leave build up and iit is great when you wear your hair down and want a natural feel/ look. However,naturally my hair is curly so this hairspray does nothing for humid days, up dos, or bad hair days for people with thick hair that wear in an unnatural state (curly to straight or vice versa). However I love the smell and the sheen so much I just use a cheaper and stronger hairspray formy style and use this on top and for touch ups.

I had heard amazing things about this hairspray and bought my first bottle a few years ago.
I've tried it at different times during the year to see if humidity/temperature, etc. makes a difference, and I have not found it to work for my hair in any climate.
It doesn't effectively hold and the smell is awful!
Not sure why it gets rave reviews. (I have straight, not chemically treated hair).

Makes hair very sticky and hard and flaky! It does not keep it in shape by the worst is that it's so hard to use

I hate this hairspray. It smells nasty.... Like old dead women. Also it states it has a firm hold but disappears at the stroke of a brush, so that is rather contradictory. Anyways don't waste your money on this one.

Loreal Elnett Salon Hairspray was an awesome price actually it was free to try (coupon.) I like this hairspray and I think it does the job okay! I actually like the way it sprays, It is a really even spray. There are a few complaints that I have with it though! It does not hold very well even though it says strong holding, my bangs always feel all over the place when I use it! Second it makes my hair feel greasy which I cannot stand! Third it normally is really expensive so I all in all I think there are better and cheaper brands out there that are a lot better!

Okay, so I'm going to be honest here. The only reason I tried this product is becasue I received a free sample in the mail. After trying it I knew it wasn't the hairspray for me. The price is outrageous, and there are other products out there that work just as well that you can buy for a fraction of the cost. Moving on to the smell. I don't know if it is a smell that was intentionally put in the bottle or if it is just the bad after effect of the chemicals that were used to make the product but it absolutely stinks. The day I used it I was running my errands and could not for the life of me figure out why this stink was following me around until I realized it was me! So the long and the short, don't waste your money, take your business elsewhere!

This hairspray holds just fine but it smells absoulutely disgusting. I was hoping it would just smell when i sprayed it but over 9 hours later i could still smell it and it grossed me out so much i had to rewash my hair. Only used it the one time definatly not something i'd recommend if you are sensitive to smell!
