I really like this foundation. It blends really well into my skin and covers up flaws really well. To avoid any caking, I dillute the foundation with moisturizer in areas like my forehead and cheeks, and then use the full strenght product over zits and under my eyes. Thank you chickadvisor for this great product!

Overall - I would call this a "winter" foundation. I liked it when i first put it on - smooth, light, covering but not cakey - everything a foundation should be... but even with the (very!! ) moderate heat we've had here (its been above freezing) I found my foundation was melting away far too early in the day... I also noticed that no matter what colour I tried - my face looked weird.. i couldnt find a good colour (nor could the lady at shoppers who was trying to help me).... this definately has some potential though and if you don`t have problems with foundation melting or have drier skin and can find your colour definately give it a try|

I seriously thought my skin was just not made for wearing foundation! At 30 I still had not found one that worked how I thought it should - making my skin look good and limiting the flakiness.

I have really sensitive and dry skin, and often get hives when trying new products (which does not stop me, as I must have tried at least 20 different foundations these past few years). I must admit I bought this after seeing the commercials one too many times - I always fall for marketing ploys...

This foundation really is a dream to me. It goes on light and smooth, making my skin look and feel amazing. It covers the red of my nose and cheeks quite well. It also does double duty under my eyes - no extra concealer necessary! At least when I wear my glasses. With contacts I do need a bit more coverage there. It even covers the little red lines of broken capillaries I have along one side of my nose (isn’t aging wonderful). The coverage is pretty light weight and does not flake at all. I have fair skin so the 'light' foundation matches quite well. I just put it on over my regular moisturizer and sunscreen, and actually wear it ever day.

Overall I am very impressed with this foundation and have FINALLY found one I will buy more than one time!

I just got this foundation, and I love it !
Its amazing. You can tell that I would be wearing foundation,
because it makes my skin look perfect. It smooths out my skin,
and I don't break out when I wear it. I also found that its great
to wear if it is a really hot day. I am starting to now think that
this is the best foundation I have tried yet ! I am an AVON freak,
and their foundations are good... but can not compare to
Maybelline New York Dream Liquid Mousse. The only thing
I did not like about this foundation is that it is pricey. One way
I fixed this problem was when I go to wear it , I mix it with my
favorite face moisturizer and put it on. Its just more diluted .
Works well, and as I said, I am starting to think its my favorite foundation .

By reviewing this product I resigned myself to venture into an area of make-up that I don't necessarily fuss with. Therefore my take on this make-up is not from a veteran foundation wearers point of view!!
It took a bit of getting used to using a liquid foundation, but once I got the hang of the application I was a okay!...
The shade match was a little bit off, I'm not as dark as the one that I received and not as light as the shade up from my choice, therefore I still had to blend the colours with my existing powder to give a more even look.
I don't know if I would buy this product per say, as I wouldn't use it like I use my compact on a daily basis. But for the more formal I wanna look all done up fully made up to the nines look I would keep one on hand most definitely!

I usually don't use drugstore foundations, but I am really liking this product! The first thing that I noticed was its non-greasy texture. It went on smooth on the face without needing to pat it down with a mineral powder. Its light and medium sheer, so this is useful during the summer months. The name is kind of a throw off - it doesn't sound attractive at all :) I can see myself using the whole bottle this summer.. I recommend this for people who are looking for some minimal coverage that looks flawless on your skin :)

I'm not too sure about this foundation. I bought it today, and I applied it onto a base of foundation several hours old. One thing I'm not too keen on is that it was quite sticky after I applied it, despite the fact it went on pretty smoothly (I use a foundation brush). It had reasonable coverage, it didn't conceal absolutely everything but I'd expect that. The price was great, too - I went in thinking I'd be spending at least in the region of around £10, but it was a nice surprise to find it was around £5 - I'm not sure what it would be in the USA. As for the 'satin finish' claim.. well, I don't think it had the satin finish effect. It gave my skin a more matte look, and I could tell - I left half of my face wearing only my normal foundation, and the Maybelline half had little to no shine compared to the other half.
Anyhow, it dried to leave a very powdery finish, and I was unsure whether to apply setting powder or not, because if my skin is dry, appling powder usually really sucks all the moisture out my skin. I couldn't deal with the slightly sticky feel though, so I gave in. However even with the powder on, if I press my hand against my cheek, it's still pretty sticky. It really clung to dry areas of my face as well: for imperfections such as dried-out pimples, I'd suggest this foundation isn't great to be using on them.
I think it only really lives up to its high appeal should you have skin in relatively good condition; as other reviewers say, it gives you really light coverage, but it's more matte than you would expect. I was also pretty confused by the colour range in the store, but I chose Ivory, because I have fair skin. I think the colours vary in amount of yellow/pink tones, but other stores are probably more helpful than mine.
However, it'll probably do for me, until I buy my regular foundation. It's not terrible, but I'm not sure if I'm as attatched to it as my other one.

Usually I veer away from foundation because I was under the impression that it is not of any use until a certain age and that it is heavy and uncomfortable. However, this product proved me wrong! It really is just as light as mousse and once you have it on it really does not feel like you are wearing any makeup, which is really important because who wants to walk around with a cake face? I don't even need to wear concealer with this because if you get the right shade then it does all the work for you and really simplifies your makeup routine.

Even the bottle is cute! I always worry with liquid products that they will leak when I throw them in my makeup bag but not only does this product snap closed tightly so that you don't have to worry about leakage, it also has a cute little cap that you can throw on the bottle just in case.

THE NUMBER ONE BEST ASPECT OF THIS PRODUCT: a little goes a VERY long way! I can't even believe it. I have a feeling this is going to last me a very long time! Perfect for us recessionistas! :)

Forgot to mention! : I have very very dry skin and I was concerned about this foundation highlighting the dryness but my skin actually feels better with this on, and it really is so smooth that I don't worry about my skin or the makeup flaking. There are no thick foundation lines here! Extremely blendable and natural-looking!

I am completely and utterly on the fence with the foundation. Part of me loves it SO much and thinks it is my new favourite make-up item. The other part of me thinks that is has some of the qualities that make make-up an automatic no-no for me. Why do I keep using it then you ask? Because I absolutely adore how it makes my skin look.

First off, I cannot tell you how many compliments I have gotten on my complexion since I started using it 2 weeks ago. People say things like you have such a beautiful complexion, and what gorgeous skin you have! I cannot believe it because truthfully I don’t have all that gorgeous skin lol. So it’s really not that difficult to figure out why I keep using it. It gives my skin that radiant and luminous glow that all celebrities seem to have, but that has so far escaped me in terms of make up. Even illuminators have not allowed me to achieve a glow that matches this one. It also minimizes my pores (just as it promises) and evens out my skin tone (as all good foundations do).

My only complaint is how my skin feels with this product on – oily. This is the main reason that I generally avoid liquid foundations, opting instead for powder versions (such as my staple, Mac Studio-Fix foundation). I generally prefer these because of the ease of use and the matte way my skin feels. This foundation makes my skin feel kind of dewy, moist and almost sticky. I would prefer it if the foundation felt as matte as it looks.

As far as application goes it was pretty standard for liquid foundation. The bottle had a handy locking mechanism and it dispenses just the right amount of product to allow you to gradually build to your desired level of coverage. I apply with my fingers, and sometimes even mixed it with my face lotion for a sheer tinted moisturizer look. My only complaint about applying with my fingers is that the colour stays on my hands until I wash it off with soap and water (I learned this the messy way). Also on this note, the foundation does not wash off my face that easily. Perhaps this is the fault of my acne fighting cleanser (it’s not really designed to remove all make-up I suppose) but it irks me when I have to buy make up remover or a new cleanser just because I have purchased a make-up item that stubbornly won’t wash off.

    To summarize:

    Likes:
*The gorgeous, radiant appearance of my skin after application
    *my pores were minimized
    *skin tone appeared more even
    *did I mention the glow???

    Dislikes:
*Requires soap and water to wash off of hands after application
*Does not wash off easily from face, without cleanser designed specifically for make-up removal
*The slightly oily appearance and feel of my skin with the make-up on

Overall I think the lovely appearance of my skin (not that I am trying to toot my own horn here) with this foundation greatly outweighs the annoyance I have with washing it off my hands/face, or dealing with the oiliness of my skin. I mean that is what blotting papers were invented for right? I will most certainly purchase this in the future and highly recommend it to anyone who wants light to medium coverage with a luminous glow.

I enjoyed this foundation. I usually only wear powder because i hate the gunky feeling of wearing foundation. And the only other cream substance i wear on my face besides lotion was the dream mousse foundation. So I wanted to give this liquid one a go. I found that it really did even out my skin tone (maybe not as much with how the commercial implied, but enough to cover my blemishes and make my skin appear smooth). It was very easy to use, I applied mine with my fingertips and/or a warm wet makeup sponge, and it was great. What i really loved was that it stayed on much better than its mousse relative. Overall, a great product for the cost. Would definitely suggest it
