Correct, mais j'ai vu mieux

J'ai pu essayer la nouvelle gamme Bright boost de Neutrogena au complet, je dirais que cette crème est celle qui m'a le plus déçue des 4 produits. Pour le range de prix, j'ai déjà utilisé d'autres produits que j'ai plus aimé et trouvé d'avance efficace. Le positif est que cette crème sent très bonne.

Way too think and just made me look shiny

This product looks nice, but honestly, it went on WAY too thick to be a day cream, especially because it comes with three other products that you're supposed to use at the same time. It says it's supposed to boost shine or brightness or something but really just made my face feel very oily and look very shiny. I'm fairly particular about day face cream because I don't like to feel like I've got a thick layer product on and this just never seemed to sink into my skin. I will keep trying it but honestly it's just a little bit too much for me.

I used a lot less than I did at the beginning but it still didn't seem to absorb into my skin.

Moisturizer

I wasn't impressed. It's not hydrating at all for my skin, it just felt like a layer of silicone, with no hydrating ingredients. It also had a bit of sparkle which is unnecessary and didn't make my skin have a glow, just looked dry and a little glittery.

Not something I would grab

I love the hydro boost gel cream so I was very excited to receive this but was disappointed when I actually used it. It has literal sparkles in it and smells very perfume-y. When I want to feel bright, I want my skin to glow not sparkle, and also it did not absorb into my skin at all, just sits on top making my makeup very slippery and not last throughout the day.

Okay Product

I received this product from ChickAdvisor to try for review purposes. I love trying out new skincare products, and I am lucky that my skin is not fussy with things that I put onto it. This gel cream was okay, at most. I did not find it as moisturizing as I would like it to be, but I find that that is typically the case with gel based products. It works okay as a day cream. But for the evening, I would prefer something more moisturizing. I did not notice any lasting brightening effects from using this product.

Pas pour moi

Le packaging , l'odeur et la texture sont parfait à mon goût . Par contre lorsque je l'utilise combinée avec le sérum de la même collection ça me laisse un texture que je n'aime pas sur le visage une texture que je n'ai pas lorsque je test les produit séparément, mais je suis difficile sur se point la . Je ne l'ai pas utilisée longtemps peut-être 2 ou 3 fois et ce n'est pas assez pour bien le juger je trouve et pas assez longtemps pour voir aucun résultat , mais la collection ma donner une grosse poussé de bouton et j'ai donc abandonner l'utilisation . #gotitfree

Boutons boost...

J'ai reçu gratuitement la nouvelle gamme de produits Bright Boost à essayer. Bien heureuse de ne pas avoir eu à dépenser... Eh oui! Je vais commencer de façon directe et honnête dès le départ.
Franchement, au niveau de l'efficacité, je cherche encore l'effet Bright. Oui, c'est vrai, dans chacun des produits de cette gamme on retrouve de petits glitteures (comme dirait ma grand-mère ou si tu préfères des brillants, en français). Mais franchement, ces glitteures sont ben juste dans le pot. Je les ai cherché dans ma face, mais sans succès!
Ce ne sont pas des produits faits pour l'hiver. Ils sont très peu hydratants.
Plus spécifiquement, cette crème, j'aime la texture, l'effet gel, froid. Parfait pour les jours d'été, mais pas pour l'hiver c'est certain. Étonnement, elle laisse un effet gras sur la peau.

There are better gel moisturizers on the market

I was very fortunate to have been selected by Chickadvisor to test out this product for free. I found that this isn't as light as the other gel creams I've tried. A little of this goes a long way, so even though it's only 50mL, it'll likely last a while. It contains shimmery flecks to help illuminate the skin. I didn't notice that at first. It was noticeable when in direct sunlight and I was confused as to how I got gold shimmer all over my face. It isn't super evident from afar, but you'll see each individual fleck if you get too close.

I'm happy that it didn't break me out, which is my biggest issue when trying out new moisturizers. I used this product morning and night, and after a week the existing texture on my skin that wouldn't go away has disappeared. I think it is effective, but I really dislike that it doesn't absorb into my skin. My skin is constantly tacky throughout the day and my face sometimes sticks to my pillow at night. I tried using less thinking I was applying too much but that had no difference. It's also not great under makeup. Either the moisturizer or my foundations pilled up and rolled off my face. This moisturizer is probably fine if you're not going anywhere, but not for days you want to leave the house. Because of that, I don't really think it's worth it. I likely wouldn't purchase once this is used up.

Softness you can feel!

Product goes on greasy but dries with a softness you can feel. Feels kind of heavy if you use too many other products first. Scent is nice but not too strong.

Shimmer and Shine

First the pros:
Love the packaging
My skin definitely LOOKS brighter
My skin is soft

What I don't love:
Very chemical-y smell
Sits on my skin, I can feel in throughout the day and it actually pills if I rub my face
I think the "brightening" it does is the shimmer, it seems to be a lot of shimmer suspended in a gel

The way it sits on my skin also has a bit of a sheen to it - I'm not sure if this is good or bad. It increases the brightening look but I worry about what impact it will have on my skin, if it's going to create congestion in pores.

Not sure I would recommend this, and I don't plan to purchase it.
