great sample

Received this product for free from chickadvisor in exchange for my honest review. the sample is too small to see any long-term effect. but so far I'm loving it. I use it in the morning and it absorbs quickly without any greasy residue for my combination skin. it does not irritate my skin even my undereye area.

When you need a little extra hydration

I was excited to try this after I received it for free. I have really dry skin, so I have to use this with my normal moisturizer. It does help give my skin a little extra hydration and feels nice and light weight. It also has a really nice scent which is always a bonus. I could see this working really well if you have normal or even oily skin.

J’ai eu ce produit gratuitement grace à Chickadvisor pour le tester et voici mes commentaires;
Les points possitifs de ce produit sont qui rend la peau agreablement douce au toucher et ne rend pas la peau grasse (dans mon cas)
Pour les points negatif je dirait que je n’aime pas l’odeur de ce produit, ca sent « chimique »un peu je trouves. Ce que je n’aime pas aussi cest le prix. Pour un produit qui est plus ou moins bon je trouves que c’est cher. Je ne penses pas acheter ce produit un jours. Je ne crois pas que cest un bon produit pour le visage.

Worth a try

I love the Neutrogena Hydro Boost line. I got this free to try and did enjoy using it. Its super light weight and leaves my skin with a cooling effect. I think its the perfect combination to be used with their Gel sun screen!

Great to use before makeup

I got to try this Hydro boost gel, and I really enjoyed the results it had on my skin. I liked the scent, soft, not floral...not intense. I also really liked how quickly it absorbed into my skin. That is why I'm saying its great to use before putting on makeup. My skin felt smooth and soft, not greasy at all. I would repurchase this product in the future.

Sample Size

I received a sample of this item from the Chickadvisor Product Review Club. This has dimethicone in it, so it can clog your pores - but it contributes to that "smooth, hydrated" skin feel. It does sit decently under makeup though - so I'd use it for that, and not as a moisturizer. It is on the pricier side for a drugstore product especially for the amount (~50ml) that you're getting. Also not the biggest fan of the HA due to the drier climate, might work better in a humid climate.

Not totally in love

I was so excited to try this product since my skin tends to breakout with heavy creams, so the gel formula was enticing. It delivered on the light-weight feeling but I didn't notice a difference with hydration after about ten minutes. It would be a great summer time moisturizer but I definitely don't recommend it for the winter or anywhere with a dry climate.

Works well

Seems to make my skin feel softer and smoother but I am not a fan of gel because of some residou left over that goes to seem to get absorbed in the skin.

Nice light moisturizer

I #gotthisforfree to try asa sample. This is a nice light gel cream. It gave me a light fresh layer of moisture. Nice smell and i had no reaction to it. I think this is perfect for summer and for oilier skin types. It leaves me quite fresh! I would definitely reach for this in the summer.

I only had a small sample to try so i am unsure of long term effects.

Such a lovely product!

I recieved a sample of the Hydo Boost gel cream and thought it was a great product!
My skin is usually dry and flanky.
I put this product on after I washed my face, under my tinted cream and it felt really nice.
It went on thin; didn’t feel heavy on my face.
It moisturized my face all day, my face wasn’t flanky or dry!
I only used it once so I am excited to see the results after I use the entire tube!
If it keeps working the way it is, I will continue to use this product!
