Soft, Supple Hands

I received the Neutrogena Hydro Boost Hand Gel Cream for free (#freeproduct #gotitfree) from ChickAdvisor in exchange for an honest review. I tend to have really dry hands, as I am washing them thoroughly several times throughout the entire day. I have used several different creams to help avoid dry, cracked skin - but it's difficult to keep it on, if I am constantly washing it away. This cream is different - it is a gel cream. It is super absorbent, almost water-like in that sense - very lightweight. It doesn't leave behind a greasy feeling, leaving you able to work with your hands with ease. I find that with some other products, you have to wait until the lotion absorbs until you can do anything with your hands - that is not the case with this product. I think the difference is in the gel-based lotion, and the fact that this product contains hyaluronic acid. This acid helps in getting deep down to the cell to boost hydration at that level. Not only do my hands look hydrated, but they feel super soft! You can tell that this lotion absorbs deep into your skin, and that it continues to work long after application.

I would definitely recommend this product to anyone who has really dry hands, but has yet discovered a product that works for them. This is the perfect product for retaining moisture and improving the look of dry cracked hands over time.

Leaving skin very soft

I used Neutrogena Hydro boost hand gel cream for two weeks.
The texture is like a gel, not thick like cream. The fragrance is very light and disappears in 10-15 minutes. This gel cream absorbs quick and doesn’t leave my hands greasy.

The Neutrogena Hand and Gel Cream is lovely. It feels so soft and silky on my skin. I love that it's non-greasy and absorbs nicely. There is no overpowering scent which is good as some creams can be overly floral. As someone who deals with itchy, dry skin, this cream really did a wonderful job making my hands feel soft.

Great hand cream

Love the idea of adding HA

I love the idea of adding hyaluronic acid to a hand cream! This complimentary bottle couldn't have arrived at a better time; I just recently moved inland and away from the coast, and my new location has given me extremely dry skin. My fingers especially are feeling the worst of it. I use this hand cream only at night because I am actually not a fan of how it feels on my hands. It's a hard feeling to describe - the cream is rather liquid-y (hence why it is labelled as a "hand gel cream"), which is not a problem for me, but when it dries down on your skin, it leaves a residue feeling that is rather uncomfortable. I would hate to put this on in the morning and have to go throughout the day feeling like there's a foreign layer of something on my hands. I do think it does an effective job of hydrating the skin though. And I really enjoy the look of the packaging!

Light and airy

This is a nice every day moisturizer to use when you hands needs a quick moisture boost. The scent is light and pleasant - an aqua scent with a bit of floral. It absorbed quickly and left no greasy feel. In terms of moisture power, this would be on the lighter side - a 3 out of 5. Overall it's nice, but if your hands feel really dry, this won't cut it.

Neat formula!

This is my first time using a Gel hand cream thanks to my box from Chick Advisor. I was surprised at how quickly and easily the product absorbed into my skin. I did find the scent a bit strong at first but it does dissipate quickly. I'm a teacher and I wash my hands a lot, so I appreciate the size/colour - it's easy to put in my bag/find among my other things. I can't say my hands felt hydrated all day but they did feel soft after I used the product. I look forward to trying it out more.

Great hand gel cream

I received this product as a member of the product review club. I usually find hand lotions too greasy so this gel cream was the perfect compromise! It was light and not greasy at all

Good for using on-the-go

I got this gel hand cream for free. After using it for a while I came to the opinion that it's effective in general, but not a great value for your money though. It has a light texture and a light scent, so it would be very good for using it on-the-go, at work or outdoors; but I wouldn't use it at home, because it's scented. (and the fragrance is not one of my favorite ones by the way).

I typically don't like hand cream. I mean, I like the effect of it, but when it comes right down to it, anything with a residue or 'feel' just doesn't work for me. The beauty of this formula is that it is both super light-weight feeling and super clean feeling. It gives a great amount of hydration, but absorbs completely leaving no weird feel or greasiness.
