Jelly and moisturize

Primer has jelly consistency that is fun) Didn't irritate even my sensitive lids. Otherwise, I don't really need it to all face. But this jelly is moisturizing, so I like to use it in exfoliated skin before the tone. My skin absorbs it perfectly, the product doesn't stick.

Unique texture

This was an interesting primer, the texture is really unique and it feels quite nice on the skin. It provides a nice base for foundation, but I didn't find it affected the staying power of my makeup.
The texture also makes it harder to get the exact amount you need out of the jar. Overall not bad, but didn't do anything amazing for my makeup.

Really cool product to try

I received the NYX Bare with Me Hydrating Jelly primer through the chickadvisor program. When I first scooped up some of the product, I was really taken aback by the texture. It’s almost like a watery jello texture. I have dry skin so I thought that there’s no way something so watery can be hydrating enough for my skin. However, I was wrong! This jelly primer makes my skin look bright and smooth, and makes it feel soft and hydrated. I think it is perfect for the summer months when you want something lightweight and not greasy for your skin. If you have dry skin like me, you might prefer something a bit thicker for the winter. I like applying this under my makeup, but as a moisturizer rather than a “primer” because I didn’t notice any difference in makeup appearance or longevity when using this product. (This is why I gave it 3 stars in effectiveness)

Le produit en tant que tel fonctionne bien, mais je ne suis vraiment pas fan de la texture. C'est une bonne base, mais personnellement je ne rachèterai pas.

Not bad

I received the product complimentary through ChickAdvisor.

I was intrigued to use this product and was pleasantly surprised. It goes on smooth and does a good job as a primer. I don't notice it being any different from other primers though.

To oily

I received this product free for testing however I would not recommend. I found the product way too oily and the way it sat on my face throughout the day made me feel like I needed to wash it off.

This NYX Bare With Me Hydrating Jelly Primer has a jelly texture and consistency. Once applied, it felt like a hydrating mask/moisturizer. It feels very hydrating and refreshing on the skin.

The primer has a bit of a sticky feel but after applying a foundation, the stickiness is no longer there. In fact, the primer did help prime the skin and made it easy for the foundation to go on, leaving a smooth even-skin canvas.

Overall, this jelly primer does a great job as being the base for makeup and I also love how the jelly "bounces back" after digging into the product.

Interesting texture

I got to try this NYX product in exchange for a Chick Advisor review. I was a little surprised by the consistency of the primer. It certainly is cool and jelly like. I’m not always a fan of primers that don’t squeeze out of a tub as I’m worried about contaminating the rest of the product, but that said, the jelly like substance works well to prime my face for foundation and had not caused any breakouts. :)

Good primer, little pricey for drugstore

The primer has a nice slip, it's easy to apply and dries down slightly tacky. Helps makeup adhere to my face and doesn't ball up under. Can't say much in terms of hydration, since I have combo skin and only need the primer on my tzone. The only thing I'd say is that it's a little pricey for a drugstore product at $22. However NYX is more of the "high end drugstore" so I'm not too surprised. The packaging is a soft pink plastic tub, which is sturdy and good quality for a drugstore brand. Overall a good product for making makeup last, but a little pricey. Would buy again if it went on sale in store.

Amazing texture!

Received this product from chickadvisor to try in return of my honest opinion. I'm so sick of oil based primer, especially when it clogged your pores and when you have eyelash extensions its causes more shedding.
Glad to try this water based primer, the texture is actually like pudding, it's soft and melt in your skin. Making it looks plumper and hydrated.
