My daughter has used this with both her sons. The refills are a bit pricey. She would fill them up with soiled diapers and it kept the odor in. Great product.

I found this product did not keep any smells inside the diaper genie. Even with a few diapers in the diaper genie my sons room would stink. The refills aren't cheap either. Big waste of money in my opinion.

This is a must have for any parent! The foot peddle is the best! It's worth the extra money! My diaper genie recently broke so I emailed playtex. They responded the next day and sent me coupons to purchase a new one! Their customer service team is a pleasure to work with!

This is a must have baby item! It keeps the diaper odor in the pail (except when you have to open the lid to add more diapers... Hold your breath!). I have two of these in my house and they are worth every penny (we have the ones with the foot pedals). I would recommend this to any parent that will be using disposable diapers in their home!

Diaper Genie is one of the greatest products for new parents. I can't stand the smell of stinky diapers and the only option we could think of before this was just to throw the diaper in a plastic bag and out the door, but then we'd have a stack of dirty diaper bags at the end of the day that neither of us wanted to touch! You Betcha Diaper Genie is great!

Ok so before my son was born (just over a year ago), we purchased the Diaper Genie (the one WITHOUT the foot pedal). Although at TIMES it masks some of the smell of stinky diapers, Ive been more than disappointed with the overall product. Aside from not totally masking the smell, with this one, you have to PUSH the diapers through the trap so they fall into the pail...leaving your hands stinky and sloppy from any previous diapers. YUCK! If we were to ever purchase one in the future, I'd DEF go with the one that has the foot pedal feature not only to protect my hands, but they 'trap' seems to spin around not letting ANY smell escape!

Great for keeping the smell down as diapers can get smelly.
