Steady hands

I purchased this eyeliner in the shade 01 blackest black. The felt tip is pretty firm and only bends a small amount while drawing, which is a big plus for me. It is also smudge proof so it's great for hooded eyes. My only issue with it was that it's not very pigmented. I had to trace over several times to try and get a true black colour which only resulted in me messing up and having to start over. I'd only recommend if you have steady hands so you can trace over with precision.

I love the colourstay pencil but this was a fail. Although the liner is long wearing, it was hard to get enough product to apply evenly on both sides. The first side is fine then the second side requires work. The pen does not reload product very effectively. I found the applicator challenging to make thicker lines with.

Love doing a winged cat eye as an every day look. I find that for precision, this pen style is the easiest to use in order to avoid crooked lines and mistakes due to a shaky hand. Though for about $10 it is difficult to get enough of the product at the tip to make the wing crisp looking. I find that when you go back to add pigment it will remove the previous line. Easy to use, but could be improved.

Honestly only reason I didnt enjoy this pen was because it didnt "stay" like the name suggests. everythng else about it was fine, good colour, no bad smell (sometimes liquid ones I have found have harsh smells which in turn bugs my sensitive eyes), really easy to use glides nicely and price wasnt too bad, but didnt stay! only reason I bought it soooo would not suggest.
