    works well

This is a really great inexpensive primer. it gives skin a smooth finish and fills in larger pores and lines. It did take a little while to really absorb into my skin though and I had to wait a few minutes before applying my foundation. Still a great value but not my absolute favorite

I've been using the Rimmel fix & perfect primer for a few months now and I do like how it works. It has a thicker consistency then some other primers I use and comes out looking like a lotion. It blends in nicely to my skin and I feel like it does a good job minimizing my pours. Overall, it isn't my favourite primer, but it works well and for the price I will use it again.

This is my go-to primer. I use it every day and I love it. I like the formula. It feels like a lightweight lotion. It allows for a flawless finish and it keeps the oils and shine at bay. I would recommend this.

Not too crazy about this primer; it helps my foundation apply well but doesn't keep the oil at bay as it claims.

Rimmel Fix and Perfect Primer is either a HIT or a MISS! I've seen countless mixed reviews on it but decided to try it anyway. It seems to be most hated for its tinted hue. A hue that maybe too dark for some and too light for others. But for me, the hue is just right.

It's one of those foundation primers I wouldn't recommend to just anyone. Smashbox Photofinish or even Beyond Natural Smoothing Primer are universal primers. But Rimmel Fix and Perfect Primer's brownish (and slightly reddish) tint makes its suitable for a mere segment of the foundation-wearing population. I'm a medium to darker skin tone and this primer works great for me. Wouldn't recommend it to my sister because she has a darker complexion. Rimmel Fix and Perfect Primer would most likely make her look slightly "ashy." Ivory skin tones would probably look like they were wearing a second-class bronzing/tanning cream - ew! Then, to top things off, there is only one shade of Rimmel Fix and Perfect Primer on the market.

Normal and dry skin applicants need not apply. Rimmel Fix and Perfect Primer is best suited for combination to oily-skinned gals like myself. It definitely does an awesome job of mattifying the skin and controlling shine for extended foundation wear. But Rimmel Fix and Perfect Primer can possibly make foundation application agonizing for those normal to dry skin gals by causing blotchiness and dry patches on their skin.

If you're looking for a satiny finish for your foundation or powder, then Rimmel Fix and Perfect Primer is NOT for you either. It simply mattifies the skin which will prolong foundation wear. It will not help your foundation glide effortless onto your skin. It does not do much for pore minimization in my opinion either. It does, however, smooth out uneven skin because of its tinted shade. So it can easily be used alone in lieu of foundation. Light makeup day? Just apply it and go.

I've used Rimmel Fix and Perfect Primer under powder and liquid foundations with great success. I never pair it with another oil-controlling or mattifying product like Make Up For Ever Mat Velvet. I typically use it with creamier foundations and/or mineral foundation products.

This was the first primer I bought. I will be honest I bought it because it was the cheapest. It is an orange colour, but it does blend into the skin well. I find it does make my make up last longer. Foundation just seems to melt off me, this stopped it from happening. I would recommend this as a started only because of the price.

I have heard mixed reviews about this primer but I happen to really like it. This is the first primer I've ever used and I find it evens my tone and really smooths out my skin to make my foundation look much better than without the primer. It has an orange color to it so I don't know if it would work for all skin colors. I have fair skin and I've never had a problem with it changing the shade of my make-up. I can't compare to other brands but I'd say it's a great buy with it only being around 6 dollars.
