Not what I need

I usually really like rimmel products and use one of their foundations every day as well as a setting powder. So when I ran out of primer and a few other essentials I decided to save a few bucks and not get the one I usually do Mistake! It doesn't do much of anything IMO.So back I go to get a new one.

It has some outrageous claims like it soothes resurfaces and protects. However it did not make my makeup long wearing and my makeup creased when using this product. I was highly disappointed. On a positive side, it was creamy but other than that I was not impressed!

This primer did absolutely nothing for me.It is a terrible dark reddish hue which did not go well with my pale ivory skin.It did not at all diminish the look of my large pores. It may have made my makeup last slightly longer but I didn't notice any significant difference. It's one of the best priced primers out there, but you really shouldn't waste your money on something that's ineffective.

I tried this a while ago, in the summer, as an alternative to heavy duty foundation... it does look interesting, nice, light and glowy. Mediocre, but it was cheap. However, I broke out from it. If you have sensitive skin, stay away from bad quality products. This is one of them.

The color made me look like I had a fake tan on my face, even with a light/pale foundation over top. I didn't find that the product made my makeup last longer or look fresher. Not a great buy.

I just started using foundation all over my face recently and decided since I got a rimmel london foundation (lasting finish 16hr) I might as well get their primer. Um, first and foremost, this primer has a pretty strong scent. If you don't mind the fragrance then maybe you'll like this. I find it overwhelming at first but it isn't a bad smell, however. This primer also has an orangey/peachy colour, which does seem to disappear/blend into the skin. I do find that it makes my foundation look a bit lighter at first as well, but it could be just me. Overall it's okay for the price.
