Actually works !

Tried out the produce saves this past week by storing freshly picked farm strawberries my daughter collected. After washing the berries they lasted up to one week on these containers ! Maybe they would have lasted longer but we ate all the berries ;) would reccend these containers to everyone!

Another Food Box for my veggies

I have a lot of different food saver boxes at home. Some are good and some are flimsy. We eat a lot of produce and fruits and this Rubbermaid FreshWorks Produce saver is pretty good. It fits well in my fridge. It is easy to clean. I quite like these and plan on buying a few more to keep my produce a little longer. I recieved one for free to try.

Rubbermaid Freshworks Really Works!

I love buying fresh produce - from fruits to veggies. However, in my household, it's only my husband and me - so food doesn't get devoured as fast as we would like. A lot of our produce would spoil before the weekends. It's strawberry season and I tried this on the strawberries I purchased. It works! My strawberries looked as fresh as I purchased them a week ago. No mold with some slight of deterioration. As the container is a bit pricey, I would purchase this in other sizes when it's on sale for other fruits and veggies.

It's a nice option

This is a great option to keep fresh produce fresh. I really like mine and the size is just right for berries or salads. However the price is too high for a 'plastic container'. It works great, just wish it was more affordable.

Rubbermaid Freshworks keeps it real and fresh!

I received the medium sized container to try and was not sure what to expect as the container seemed quite simple like many of my others but with a grade for the bottom and a air flow on the lid.

I always have had problems keeping strawberries fresh without going mouldy and shrivelled in the fridge after two to three days. I tried both washing the strawberries and pat drying them with paper towel and placing in the container and also washing them and putting them straight in the container without drying.

After five days both batches looked just as fresh as when I purchased them. So happy to skip the pat dry step!

The medium sized product that I received was $14.99 which is a little highly priced. Albeit the container is quite thick and sturdy not flimsy at all. But the next size up is only $3 more so I would purchase the larger container as it seems like more value for your money.

Garde la fraicheur des fruits et légumes plus longtemps

Étant une personne qui coupe d'avance mes fruits et légumes pour la semaine, j'étais bien curieuse d'essayer les contenants freshworks de Rubbermaid. Après 6 jours mes fraises étaient toujours fraiches (texture et goût étaient encore parfait). Le prix des contenants peut paraitre élevé au départ mais cela vaut vraiment la peine étant donné qu'on conserve ses aliments beaucoup plus longtemps qu'avec un contenant ordinaire. #cadeau

Keeping it Fresh!

I got to try the #RubbermaidFreshWorks Produce Saver as I #gotitfree. I used it for my strawberries and cucumbers. My fiancee and I have previously used regular tupperware containers to store our unused / partially cut up fruit and vegetables. We definitely noticed a difference with this Rubbermaid Freshworks container as it prevented the strawberries from molding or deteriorating too fast. It definitely helped to keep our fruits fresher for a longer period of time.

Tres bon produit!

Tres bon produit que j'ai reçu gratuitement. Il garde vraiment les légumes et fruits frais. J'ai fait un test avec des légumes que j'avais préalablement coupés. Ils sont restés croquants pendant toute une semaine. Le prix est assez dispendieux pour un contenant cependant.

Keeps produce fresher, longer!

I was so excited to be selected to review the Rubbermaid Freshworks produce saver!

As a mom of young kids i always have fresh produce in my home. During the summer months, I often buy farm fresh local products. Although these taste better and are free from harmful chemicals, I also find sometimes this means we need to use the veggies faster so they don't wilt.

I tried this out with fresh spinach and I was amazed! My spinach usually lasts for 3 days tops, and after day 5 it was still fresh and green with no soggy spots! It was perfect as I could use it for lunches all week long.

I wish they had a few more sizes, but otherwise it is great, and id definitely recommend it!

This is a good product.

The Rubbermaid FreshWorks Produce Saver is a great product for storing fresh produce. The price was reasonable. My produce didn't spoil using this container, as opposed to leaving it in a plastic produce bag in the fridge. My only complaint about this product is the size. I got to try out the medium sized (6.3 cups / 1.5 L) container. In order to fit items such as celery, you have to cut them into pieces.
