A whole lotta colour in a can

I was excited to try Schwartzkopf Root Retoucher for free thanks to the Chick Advisor Review Club. This product packs a punch. The colour I received actually came out darker than my actual colour, it was supposed to be blonde but it was like a light-medium brown. I think this product could be great for many people.

No more roots

I was skeptical about using this product, however, I was pleasantly surprised that it covered my roots and was easy to use. It lasted a little longer than one wash which was fine by me. I can now extend my trips to the hairdresser by a couple of weeks.

Covers up the roots

I like the root retoucher. The color was a little darker than i expected. #gotitfree It only takes one wash to come out and that was good. I like the idea of being able to have something that will cover roots until i can get a real touch up.

Natural looking coverage not so natural smell

A nice product to have around if you color your hair. The effect was very natural looking. It wasn’t a perfect match to my color but lightened the so obvious color line that I managed to feel better about my delay in redoing my hair. I didn’t like the smell and felt self conscious that I smelled like rubbing alcohol....but no one said anything so maybe it was just me. Will definately keep a bottle around to do fix ups between colourings.

This was very cold applying, however yes it worked. Color I received matched my hair color too. I would buy at a reasonable price as it is a one time use, each time applied. Washes of hands & face easily too.

Great for a quick fix

I got the dark blonde to try through the Product Review Club. My darker roots were starting to come through about two inches. I used the spray - I was hesitant at first - but it really helped cover up the darker hair coming in.
For a quick fix I do recommend this product. It didn’t last too long for me but I was ok with that. Great product for a quick root touch up!

A quick and easy retouch instead of going to the salon

I received the Root Retoucher for Dark Blonde. For a quick fix on roots, this is a great product. Easy to use when you are in a pinch or in between salon visits. I have dark blonde hair with low lights and high lights, it blended well with all colours and the application was quite simple. The smell was not my favourite but it didn't linger for very long. I am terrible for booking proper salon visits so sometimes have to wait beyond an acceptable time for my roots not to be showing like crazy, this product definitely helps out! I am a big fan of the Schwarzkopf brand and this is another win in my books!

Not for me

Nothing compares to going to your hairdresser and getting your hair done professionally. This is easy to use, and lasts till you wash your hair. It was fun to try, a little messy but I am sure other's would like it... sadly not for me.. tho' I would recommend it.

J'ai testé le produit Schwarzkopf Root Retoucher

J'ai eu la chance d'essayer gratuitement le produit Schwarzkopf Root Retoucher dans la couleur Blond Acajou. Entre mes colorations, j'aime bien pouvoir cacher les quelques cheveux gris que j'ai. Le produit fait très bien le travail, et ce, jusqu'à mon prochain shampoing (je me lave les cheveux aux trois jours). Par contre, j'ai trouvé que le produit faisait moins naturel que les autres produits similaires que j'ai essayé auparavant. Peut-être que je n'avais pas la bonne teinte, je vais essayer certainement avec une autre teinte un peu plus foncée. Je recommande certainement ce produit.

I would recommend this product and might buy it myself again

This product was good but a bit hard to use at first because I have short hair. It was especially hard to use around the ear and the hairline. On the top it was much easier to use. The coverage was really good when I was able to apply it on top. As with any spray product, the back was a challenge.
I am about 70% white and the dark blond covered my regrowth well.
