Great for Quick Touch-Ups

SCHWARZKOPF ROOT RETOUCHER in darke blonde saved the day! Read the instructions and don't spray too close to your scalp (feels very cold, uncomfortable if applied too close). I left it for a few seconds and then gently brushed and styled my hair. If you look at my pictures you will see a definite improvement. The roots are less noticeable. I gave this product 4 stars because application and coverage was excellent. Only took a few minutes to use. Only con was it diminished shine and my hair looked dull. I don't think there is a way around that, except trying an updo, or messier tossled hair style. Great coverage, drippy nozzle

I was super excited to test this product! I had used another brand before and wanted to see how this compared. The nozzle has a longer piece for a more accurate spray. Not sure if I got a dud, but I found it to me drippy if I didn't press hard enough, but it was too powerful if I pressed the dispenser all the way. Otherwise, I found the product to have excellent coverage. I chose dark blonde, which is darker than I anticipated compared to the other brand I had tried, but it still matched my hair and definitely covered the grey.

Great in a root emergency!

I've use this product twice now just to see that I was sure how I felt about it. It's great when I have to go out or do something and I have not dealt with my hair. I like the coverage that It gives but I miss the shine that my hair has with out it. It also acts as a bit of a hair gel holding my hair. Goodbye roots!

I have used several brands of root retoucher, and have found this brand to really live up to its' claims. The product is easy to control, does not drip, is not sticky and covers grays/roots seamlessly. I tried the dark blond. On the can/bottle there was a range of colors that it was suitable for and I had no problem covering the roots to match my hair color. If I got a little of the product on my skin, it wiped off easily. I found if I brushed my hair after an application I could see if another application was needed. Occasionally a few spots needed a touch up. The price is decent compared to other brands. This product is great.

Good product for inbetween colour touch-ups

I have used other root touchup types of products previously to cover my grey inbetween professional hair colouring. The colour was a perfect match for me but I did find that it took a lot of product (relative to other brands) to cover my grey. At the same time I found Schwarzkopf seemed to be more gentle and did not leave a residue on my hair.

Great quick fix

Unfortunately my hair is light blonde, and i was sent a dark blonde.
I did spray it on my hair, but i wasnt sure quiet how to, as there were no instructions.
I liked that it didnt add a weird texture to my hair .

I would buy this product in a pinch to cover greys

I received this product free as part of the Chickadviser review Club. I received the colour dark blonde. I followed the instructions and had some issues with drips coming from the nozzle as I was trying to apply the product to my hair. It does have a scent which I didn’t mind. Coverage is great, it covers my grey and matches my hair quite nicely. But there was no way to stop the nozzle from dripping so I had to hold a tissue over my forehead as I was spraying my hair which was not terrible but a bit of a pain. In a pinch however I would still use it because if I’m running out the door and I need gray coverage it worked. GOOD COVERAGE

I got the SCHWARZKOPF ROOT RETOUCHER for free from ChickAdvisor program to try it and give my honest review considering this product, so to be honest I think that I opted for the wrong shade (dark blonde )was little too light for my roots , but generally I like how it works this product that you can spray it on just like a dry shampoo to the roots , it's a great quick fix because the slimline nozzle makes application so easy and gives to the roots good coverage , another positive of this product is how easy it washes out , so it's perfect for special occasions , completely recommend.

Wears like Dry Shampoo

Tried out the dark blonde root retoucher. This product is a coloured powder much like a dry shampoo. The colour was a ashy blonde and in the light it gave a bit of a greyish green tint. This product has a small nozzle so the product can be aimed properly onto a small section of hair. This is a good idea for last minute functions between hair appointments. The product was dull and matte and would have preferred a greater range in colours. Needed a few shades lighter or different undertone to make it work on my roots. The product does cover grey and would consider purchasing if there was a broader selection in colour choices. #gotitfree

Definitely does the job

I received this product for fee in exchange for an honest and unbiased review.
This worked quite well in my colour treated hair. It hid the greys (which I'm still in denial that I have, thank you very much) and helped me prolong a $120 salon visit by a couple of weeks, minimum.
Some of the root touch up products I've tried in the past made my hair feel super gross, dry and flyaway...this is not one of those products. I tried it on clean hair and on day old (ok...3 day old) unwashed hair and got the same great results.
I won't say that it's the best thing since salon fresh hair, but if it saves me a couple of hundred dollars a year, I will 100% keep purchasing it!
