Just Ok Sunscreen

Before I review I seriously recommend shopping around for a decent price on this sunscreen. At one store it was 12.99 and another 24.99!! It’s super liquidy and greasy but for a mineral sunscreen it doesn’t leave the white residue that some mineral sunscreens do. I love that it’s made in Canada and the smell isnt super strong. I applied it and ran 12km on a sunny day and no burn.

Green Beaver Suncreen: My Go To Product for Summer

Back in my younger years, I wish I'd been more strict about wearing sunscreen. Now, I use it on my face daily and try to apply sunscreen on exposed areas all summer long. I have very sensitive skin, and have found that I can only use natural mineral sunscreens without artificial ingredients. I've finally found the Green Beaver Company's Natural Mineral Sunscreen...and it says "Kids" but I love it. It is an SPF 27 lotion, broad spectrum sun protection in a spray! I'm happy with the spray option as it feels less messy overall, and this lotion rubs in beautifully with little to no white residue, despite zinc oxide as the main ingredient. It is GMO free, and because it is biodegradable I can use it with less guilt when swimming in oceans and lakes. It has Natural and Organic Cosmetics eco-certification by ECOCERT Greenlife, which makes me more confident in the product. Finally, as a bonus, it is Canadian made! A wonderful product all around, that I use almost daily.

My favorite sunscreen

I love green beaver sunscreen! It is not sticky and both the spray and lotion rub in easily. It is not overly scented and works great. I highly recommend giving it a try.

I had a very bad skin reaction to this product. I've used other products with these active ingredients with no problem, so I must be something else that is in there. Additionally, the company would not do anything to make the situation right with me. No refund, no compensation. Horrible product, horrible customer service!

Worst sunscreen ever! The good side : I guess it protects from sun rays. The bad stuff : it's made with sunflower oil. My baby was really greasy. Like VERY VERY greasy. Slippery greasy. All the dirt and cat hair stuck to him. And he smelled like french fries.

I like that the product was made in Canada, natural and organic, but really, it's not worth it.

I have been using this sunscreen on my 3 year old daughter for a few summers now! I like that there are no harmful ingredients in it and it really protects her skin from sunburnt! The only con is its a bit sticky and leave a white mark on the face if you dont blend it well
