It did nothing for my skin

I've used it for over 2 months and I haven't noticed a difference. I've had other retinol gel and cream recommended by dermatologist which really worked and hade only 0.25% of retinol in their formula. This retinol is 1% and didn't work. I decided to give it a try because it's cheap, but it simply makes my skin oily overnight, nothing else. There is a reason why The ordinary is cheap and for sure you pay with its non effectiveness. People who like the products haven't tried other higher quality products. I really wanted to like the ordinary, but I've tried 7 different products and none of them made my mind.
