Hair spray that lasts all day long. Sometimes when I curl my hair I just want that little hold that doesn’t look like I stepped out from the 80s. Would recommend this!

Just right for what I need

I received this item for free as part of ChickAdvisor’s Product Review Club.

I have bought Tresemmé’s hairspray products in the past and have always found that they meet my needs. No one likes hairsprays that make their hair too crunchy, but there is a delicate balance between crunchiness and effectiveness. The Hold Level 2 worked well for me in the regard, but I might also like to try a Hold Level 1. I have long hair and usually only use hairspray to keep my bangs in place when I clip them back, or to tame frizzies. So perhaps a Hold Level 2 is better suited for someone with shorter hair and/or more demands from their hairspray than me. Nevertheless, I like this new compressed micro mist. I’m not sure what they have changed about it, but it feels like it sprays less harshly and I can mist my hair much easier than with their previous cans.

I do like the product itself; however, I must disclose that I do not support Unilever as a brand. While they have made a statement saying they do not test on animals, they do however use ingredients that may have been tested on animals. Tresemmé is one of their brands that has not been certified by PETA or Leaping Bunny as Cruelty-Free. Until Unilever chooses to stop supporting the use of ingredients from countries that test on animals, I cannot recommend this product.

It’s a new favourite

I was so excited to get this product free from chickadvisor tontry for review. As someone with fine, frizzy and hard to style hair finding a hairspray that doesn’t weigh my hair down is hard and using smoothing creams and sprays are out of the question as they do the same leaving it greasy looking. The micromist spray allows me to gradually build my hold depending on my style for the day without overapplying while keeping my fly-aways and baby hairs in check! Even the slim contoured bottle is genius and a nice change from my normal larger Tressemme can! I will definitely be adding this product to my hair care arsenal!

Quality product with great hold

First of all, I want to disclose that I received this product free for reviewing purposes. I loved how slim this can is, it makes it easy to use and easy to travel with. It held up my curls for a day and a half even though rain and a bit of snow. I'd say this would hold up to a Canadian winter/fall/spring making it a winner in my book!

Small Can Big style!

The first thing that i loved about this is the can fit in my hand perfectly! It wasn't bulky and awkward.
The Spray was consistent making it easy to apply all over.
Both my mom and i have stubborn hair so it hard to find a hairspray that will hold our hair for more than 30 min. This did not quite make it but it is close!

Not my favorite

I received the product for free to review from chick advisor. This hairspray isn’t bad but it isn’t my favorite. It smells nice and holds my hair but it makes my hair a bit crunchy. I find that I have to use my fingers to brush through my hair after applying this or it feels too heavy. I don’t think it does anything to smooth my hair either. I prefer a hairspray that is a bit lighter.

Super fixatif!

J'ai testé gratuitement le fixatif Tresemme Smooth Compressed et j'en suis entièrement satisfaite. Le jet est dense, il ne colle pas et tient la coiffure en place relativement longtemps. Je recommande sans aucun problème!

Un très bon fixatif!

J’ai eu la chance de faire l’essai du fixatif Smooth Compressed Micro Mist Hair Spray Hold Level 2 de TRESemme grâce à Chickadvsor. Je dois dire que j’ai bien aimé ce produit en général. D’abord, son odeur est tout simplement parfait contrairement à bien d’autres fixatifs qui sentent fort l’alcool. Aussi j’ai bien aimé la fine bruine qu’offre se fixatif. Cela ne donne pas de texture aux cheveux. Par contre, je trouve que le format de 155 ml n’est pas très volumineux. Bref, je serais tentée d’en faire l’achat dans le futur!

Great Hold

I received this product as part of the Chick Advisor Review panel. I was really impressed. I have a difficult time finding the right hairspray for my hair. It either doesn't hold at all (which is really frustrating if I've spent a lot of time curling it) or else it looks dry and damaged (like an 80-s back-comb). This mist not only held really well, but also didn't make my hair look dry and crusty. I still had some natural movement but held curls. It was also a good size for travelling.

Des cheveux fixés mais en mouvement

J’ai eu la chance de recevoir gratuitement ce produit pour l’essayer. Je n’ai pas été déçue, même bonne odeur que les autres produits Tresemmé et la tenue que je désire d’un fixatif, c’est-à-dire, une tenue moyenne. Il fixe les petits cheveux fous sans, par la suite, avoir une sensation collante sur la tête. De plus, il permet de garder les cheveux en mouvement. Le format est intéressant: il contient la même quantité que les grosses bouteilles, mais prend beaucoup moins de place, surtout lorsqu’on voyage.
Je l’ai fait essayer à ma soeur qui l’a elle aussi apprécié. Elle dit qu’elle ira s’en chercher lors de son prochain achat de fixatif!
