Game-Changing Service

Voila is an outstanding grocery delivery service that was very easy to use. The site was straightforward and many products that I normally use were available and in stock. There was a fair amount of grocery items that were on special as well. The driver was professional, called before his arrival, explained the contact-less delivery and quality control being used. Groceries arrived on time, packed well and appropriately refrigerated/frozen. I ordered dairy products and fish items that were packaged superbly. Will definitely recommend to anyone and will be using again.

Fabulous grocery delivery system

I have never shopped on line for groceries so I was eager to try Voila after hearing the radio ads. From start to finish this service was great. It was easy to use the website and place my order online. There were some good prices and sale items. The delivery process was really easy, just picked an hour delivery window and the day before I was given an accurate (within minutes,) delivery time and a call from the delivery person to say they were just at the door. Social distancing and COVID protocols strictly observed as well. The delivery person was incredible polite, knowledgeable and explained how the products were packed and transported; refrigerator items in green handle bags and pantry items in others to help with unpacking. The temperature of the fridge items were explained and were at a better temp than if I went myself to buy the products and bring them home. I did not order a lot of produce but the ones I did were incredibly fresh and tasty. You do pay a fee for the convenience of delivery but when you factor in your time, convenience, cost to drive or public transit etc. it is a decent charge. Although I haven't tried other stores delivery services, I have heard of not so great experiences (and delivery windows that were 3 weeks away,) from neighbors so... GREAT job Voila! Quick and easy grocery delivery

The delivery cost is $7.99 which I felt was very reasonable. There were plenty of slots available so that was also very convenient. There was a lot of selection online and I found it very easy to shop the site. I could shop the flyer, by aisle, or searching by name. The delivery came on time (my toddler got a kick out of the truck with the avocado on it). The bags with items that need to be refrigerated are marked on the handles which was a really nice feature. Overall I really liked the service and I would definitely use it again!

Great service to try, especially when in a bind!

I placed an order with Sobeys Voila service Friday night and spots were available first thing on Sunday morning (I wasn't expecting for availability on Saturday). The site is very easy to navigate through, as well as editing the order (even after placing it... you get almost half a day leeway before delivery). It was neat to search for specific products from FarmBoy too (sadly didn't have their muffuletta spread online). Delivery came 30 minutes once the 1 hour opened up. Really professional driver and left items at door for contactless.

Unfortunately our strawberries were half mushed and we ended up with wilting romaine that expired same day. HOWEVER, after contacting the Voila team, reimbursement was given (they ask for a pic if you can for future quality handling).

Would I use this service again? I would have to be in a tight situation to go this route. The delivery fee ($8) as acceptable as it is, I just found the prices were highly marked up, even beyond Sobeys prices. In addition selection of products were limited. I usually shop in person, but the online limited sale items was at least a great bonus :)

I was happy with delivery and it was on time. The driver was courteous and professional. We received the groceries and we were happy with the delivery. I really loved the convenience and ease of ordering groceries. I would definitely use them again because of the great delivery, service and timely deliver.

Viola By Sobeys & Offer from Product Review Club

I received a $25.00 eVoucher to try groceries and delivery from Viola By Sobeys. There was a good selection of products online from Viola By Sobeys. There is a weekly sale among the products. The sales are fairly good. I bought and received 2 for 1 on Complements sour cream, half price on Prime raised without antibiotics chicken, etc. I was able to reduce the cost of delivery of $7.99 from the $25.00 eVoucher. Viola By Sobeys offer products from Compliments and Farm Boy. Farm Boy offers a number of selections of organic products from canned goods to Kombacha. Overall, it was good value for my money. The products were in good condition; although I was not able to find certain products I wanted. Carting/checking out my groceries was easy.

Great shipping for fresh steaks! Shipping too costly though.

We had a decent sized order, with a mix of items delivered fresh from Voila.

The driver was courteous and polite, and also, provided pre delivery instructions via text messaging. Love this!!

As for the products, same as you would get in a full service store, nothing special here. I did like the fact that the 4 rib-eyes that I ordered were each individually shrink wrapped. This is slightly better than getting them on the foam trays often sold in store.

The promo code obviously is why I did this order, as I can’t stand the fact that I’m getting charged $7.99 for shipping/delivery. Considering I can pickup free online orders with some other places...

All in all, a good transactions with no errors or problems with my order.

Fast delivery

It was my first time using Voila and buying at Sobeys. The website is easy to use and the delivery was very fast, I placed the order around 8pm and got the groceries the day after before 9am. The delivery guys were friendly, they asked me to check the temperature of the frozen products, and if no egg was broken. I had no missing items in my order.
If I were to list some cons, it would be the variety of products (for example we buy a brand of milk that I could not find on the website) and the price. Normally I do my groceries on supermarkets that are cheaper than Sobeys.
So overall was a good experience but I would use it more for the convenience and occasionaly, not for my day to day grocery shopping. I'm giving my honest opinion and I got a discount as part of a Product Review Club offer.

Great service

I used other home food delivery service but this is best because they have their own trucks, no cross contamination and the truck is temperature controlled. Also they don't pick the food from the local store, it is picked up from the warehouse, less hands touching my food. Lastly you don't have to tip the driver, I enquired about this and it's no. So you just pay the delivery service 7.99. Definitely worth it, the last food delivery service I used you had to tip plus pay the delivery service and it came from the person's own car.

Excellent service bu pricey

I got discount from chick advisor to use the Voila home delivery service. I received all the products in good condition except apples.
I would say that service is good as they didn’t charge me any bag fee due to COViD-14 and delivery was on time.
But delivery fee is $7.99. I would like to use this service often in future.
