Very efficient!

This is the first time I ever used a grocery delivery service. Honestly, I was a little hesitant about it because I had never done it before. Then I received a discount coupon from Voila and Chick Advisor and I thought “let’s give this a try” 😊
The website was very easy to navigate and there were a lot of sales. I had a bunch of delivery times to choose from which was great! My delivery driver called me to let me know that he was on the way and was very cute out and pleasant when he arrived. He was wearing gloves and a mask and explained that everything was packed with care.
I will definitely be using Voila for my groceries again!!

Sobeys delivers now

I received a $25 off if I spent $100 or more on grocery delivery. I love to order groceries online, especially during these times. It was simple to do. I ordered the day prior and received the groceries at 7 am the next morning. I received a courtesy call right before the delivery too. Everything I ordered came, which was a bonus.

What a great service. Good job Sobeys. I am really happy with my order. All the product are fresh, cold and delivered. No substitute product whatsoever. My “personal assistant” read the driver was extremely nice and carring especially during the pandemic. The delivery window was available two days after and I live in a smaller town. Easy, convenient, and Voilà!

I am so pleased to have been offered this opportunity to order from #VoilàBySobeys.
The process from start to finish was flawless.
Their website functionality was impeccable, no lagging. The date & time for the delivery was so convenient. I was able to choose a very early morning delivery time.
Upon placing my order the day before, it allowed me ample time to edit my order as needed, up until the determined deadline. I was able to use my bank Visa Debit Card, instead of having to use my credit card. I really love that because I would normally pay for groceries in-store with my debit card, so to be able to use that option online was fantastic!
There is a $7.99 delivery charge, but that’s quite reasonable considering the time it saves me, and gas $, plus it alleviates Covid concerns of going out to shop.
The delivery person was very professional & presentable. He asked if it was my first time ordering, and proceeded to walk me through a few things about the service. For example, he explained how they bag the cold food in the bag with the green stripe on the handle.
The customer service is incredible!
There were no issues in getting everything I ordered. There wasn’t a huge variance in prices, for example the weight & cost of the fresh meats. Products were fresh and nothing was damaged.
So many great things about this service. I’ve done this with other grocery stores, but Sobey’s has been the best experience thus far. I stopped doing it through other grocery chains, as I often ran into issues - anything from website issues to product unavailability. Glad I had this opportunity to give Sobey’s a try, thanks to ChickAdvisor.

Good but needs some improvement

First thing is that you have to book the delivery time slot but trying too find everything you want is not that easy i had to change my delivery time twice in order to get all the items into my cart i ended up with 2-3pm. I used the discount voucher but it didn't want to work the first 3 times of trying! Forth time it worked! I received a phone call at 2:23pm from the delivery driver explaining that due to covid-19 i would have to check my eggs and my frozen goods and that he would be at my place in 10 minutes! 2:52pm he arrived! I liked the bins they used for carrying all the groceries in but unfortunately 2 of the glass bottles with flavored sparkling water broke in two separate bags! I mean that happens but for the cost of the majority of the food its really expensive!

Mixed Feelings About This

I received a $25 voucher for when I spent $100. Sobeys is so expensive. I bought a cart full of pantry and baby items and I know I could finds these things cheaper at RCSS or Walmart. the online interface was simple and easy to navigate with a quick checkout process. Delivery was also $7.99 which I also found way too expensive and unreasonable. Delivery was seamless, right on time and my delivery guy was so professional and super friendly. He called me when he was 3 minutes away which was great because I was just about to head into a work meeting and I was able to ask him ti refrain from ringing the doorbell because the baby was asleep. Overall, I would never use this service again with the main reasons being overpriced delivery fee and overpriced products in general that I am able to get cheaper.

Great service during this uncertain time

I was able to try this service through a product review club. The timing for this was really great for me as I am trying to avoid crowded places such as supermarkets during this period of time. I appreciated how contactless the delivery was and the limitations imposed on the handling of my groceries. I was a bit skeptical about not picking out the products myself from shelves that they may be damaged, etc. but was pleasantly surprised when everything that arrived was in great shape. I would definitely use this service again in the future.

Its actually VOILA!!

VOILA, this new service launched a few weeks ago by SOBEYS is online grocery shopping website / app. It directly delivers your ordered stuff to your doorstep from their warehouses powered by artificially intelligent robots who pick n pack grocery orders so maximum safety efforts are maintained.
It was an excellent experience to shop from them. The app or website both are equally easy to use. loved their great customer service. Also would like to mention their temp. regulated trucks as my milk and ice cream were in perfect shape.


It is such a perfect grocery solution for busy professionals or busier parents.

I stocked up my favourites and would re-order next week for sure.

Fabulous and Convenient Service!

I went online yesterday and was given delivery options for today and tomorrow. I found all the items I wanted plus some bonus items that are produced by FarmBoy which made me even more excited. A few items were unavailable which was disappointing but literally no different than when I shop at the regular grocery store so I adapted and chose other items. This morning 11 minutes into my delivery window I get a call from a young man saying he would be here in 15 minutes. He arrived asked if this was my first time ordering and I said yes and he said welcome! He than said he checked my order to ensure there was no substitutions or omissions and he checked the temperature to make sure my cold items were at the proper temperature. The groceries were packed very sensibly much like I would pack them when I pack my own at the grocery store. All and all I would say it was a great experience and very convenient during these trying times. Definitely would use again!

Mixed Feelings

I received a voucher for $25 an order of $100 or more. There were a lot of things I both liked and didn't like about Sobeys Voilà. First of all, they are expensive. I know my prices and everything is at least $0.50-$1.00 more than at No Frills or Food Basics. Yes, those are discount grocery stores, but when you're taking about pantry products, it doesn't matter where you buy, the product is the same. I liked that they had some different products that I'm not able to get at No Frills, like Nutritional Yeast. The customer service was excellent. The accidentally replaced my spaghetti with gluten free, and customer service got back to me very quickly to assure me that I wouldn't be charged for the item and to let the delivery person know. My delivery driver was wonderful! He called before he arrived to alert me to his impending arrival. He had me check the eggs to make sure they weren't broken. We chatted for a few minutes and he told me how Voilà is working to build their warehouse to have over 50,000 grocery items available. He was really nice. I just wish I had checked the strawberries before he left, because I noticed a rotten one at the bottom of the container after I took it out of the bag. I also wasn't impressed by the $7.99 delivery charge. That seems high to me. I feel like $5 is more reasonable. Overall, with the cost of delivery and the higher cost in general, I don't think I would order from Voilà again.
