Voila by Sobeys!

#got it free. I really loved the quality of everything I got. The groceries were packed perfectly and everything was fresh. The man who delivered the groceries was amazing and very friendly. I am not sure if I want to pay a fee for this service when there are others that do it for free. Also I couldn't find some groceries that I am used to. So perhaps with a bit more groceries variety and a service lesser fee I would definitely use it again.

Great new service from Sobeys

I was lucky to be chosen for the #voilasobeys campaign. I got a $25 off voucher for any order over $100. I logged into the sine ya Voila website and set up an account, so easy, then I shopped for my groceries .. I picked my time and date for delivery.. lots of spots available and I was able to get the time slot I wanted. I chose a Friday morning with a 9-10 am window. The morning of my delivery I got a phone call from the delivery person , Jason, who told me what time to expect my groceries. He was on time and since I wasn’t home when he showed up , he left the groceries on my front porch as instructed. He called me again to say he put them in a shady spot on my porch. I didn’t have any perishables so when I got home everything was there and in perfect condition. Upon unpacking to put way my groceries , everything I ordered was there, no substitutions or missed items - unlike other services I have tried over the last few months. Great delivery service.

This is my first time ever ordering groceries to be delivered and would absolutely do it again. The food/produce were fresh and exactly what I ordered. The delivery was super friendly even though he had to make 2 trips. Would definitely look into ordering again.

Will use again

This was quite an easy service to use and there were many little things that impressed me.

Firstly he just didn’t pull up on the sidewalk (I live in an urban setting and parking is a rarity) so it was great he didn’t block the sidewalk. I also got a call about 10 minutes before telling me he would be there shortly.

Secondly he took the time to ask (since I was new) if I wanted to hear about all the features and explained everything clearly.

Lastly the bagging system is pretty cool for the refrigerator/frozen items the bag handles are a dark green giving you a visual as to which bags you should deal with first

I got a corrugated carrying case for my glass bottles and everything was fresh and not damaged. They also had some good sales on, too.

I thought $8 was a bit much for a delivery fee but then I thought that I’m not going out, looking for parking or trying to walk it all back to my house in my wagon and changed my mind about that. $8 is well worth it :)

I tried this delivery service for the first time last week. Usually, I like to go into store the purchase my own groceries. I was very impressed, as all products were found, (Not replaced with similar ones), and all fruits and vegetables picked were fresh.
I will be using this service again!

Super convenient

Viola by sobey's has different stores/sections besides the usual groceries such as well.ca/farmboy... so they had a good variety of items that are reasonably priced. I like that they list out the unit price so it's easy to compare different products to gauge the best value. I received a call when the delivery man was 5-7 mins away from my place and he stayed to explain to me how the service usually works (slightly diff now due to Covid ie substitute items) and he was super kind. All my items that I requested were delivered in tact and well. I found that it was easy to pick a time slot that worked for me (starts 7 am - 10 pm).

Professional and safe service!

I was given a promotional code to try out this service and it did not disappoint. There was a good selection of products online when creating my order and I was pleased to see a lot of delivery time options. Once the groceries were delivered, the workers made sure the fridge items were cold and safe before delivering them to me and items were packaged neatly. I feel that this is a very convenient service for people who don’t have time to get out or don’t drive, however, I do find the delivery fee a bit much. Overall though the service was really really great!

Too expensive delivery fee

Service is good and sobeys items r amaizng and fresh however i live reallyyy near sobeys so its cheaper for me to walkin and order also delivery should be calculated depending on distance not a flat rate
I dont think i will use this free service i got from this website not worth it too expensive also sobeys doesnt even price match plus a deliver fee is tooo expensive

A few bugs but definitely worth a try

I received a voucher to try Volia by Sobeys. I was super excited as I live in the country and qualified for delivery (I can only get pizza from a ma and pa store)
I received my code and started my grocery list. I found that it might take some playing around with dates in order to get everything you want (some stuff shows unavailable when you go to order it) I loved how it was very transparent about if the item was in stock or not.
When I went to check out, my voucher code did not work. Voila was contacted and they were super helpful and had called me back within 2 hours of the query. Excellent customer service.
The order came, everything was at the appropriate temperature (he did a thermal scan on my ice cream and meat) and it was bagged properly. The driver had also called to tell me he was on his way and was super friendly!
Here is what I did not like. I had updated my order with additional items but when my order was processed on delivery day they were not recorded. As well, for some reason the quantity of some items were altered, ie. I got 1 dozen eggs instead of 2. Again this was shown on my delivery confirmation so the delivered order was correct. Could this be a system glitch? Overall I was happy with the service, despite the problems I encountered.

Easy to order

My first time ordering grocery online. Super easy to order and schedule my grocery delivery service.
I loved the experience all came in good condition, the employee was very respectfully and let me know that if something wasn't in good shape they could take ot back and remove from my bill. Highly recommended
