I also received this in my August glossybox and have tried three of the five samples and so far I've liked two of the three. This one is not spectacular and I wouldn't buy it again I think there are way better products on the market. But I did like the texture of this on my face it is very creamy which I can tell is the coconut.Although I do find these Befine products have no scent which is odd.I really wanted to smell a creamy coconut and citrus scent.
However it did work well on my skin and rinsed away with no residue.Every once in awhile I come across something and when doing a review on here I wish there was something in between you betcha and fugeddaboutit! I'm right in the middle with this product. But Because its made with natural ingredients and I did like the lather and that it rinsed clean away I'm going with the thumbs up on this one.
I received my Befine Pore refining Treatment scrub for free in my last months GlossyBox. A 90ml tube sells for $24 U.S. on their web site. This refining treatment contains coconut oil, jojoba micro beads that are supposed to smooth and soften your skin as it gently works to refine your skins texture. It also contains tea tree oil witch they say helps with overactive skin and orange extract to help detoxify and maintain optimal balance. The benefits to this is to help increase your skins ability to retain moisture as it smoothes and softens, it suppose to promote healing and reduce inflammation and also detoxifies and rejuvenate your skin, evening out your skin’s tone and helping to manage acne prone skin. At least this is what their web site says it can do. I was a bit surprised at how thick and creamy this treatment is, its like a lotion you would apply to your dry skin, not something I thought would be used on your face. The smell in my opinion was awful; it smelled like something my grandma would have used on her dry legs, not on her face. I was expecting to smell coconut and maybe even some orange, but I couldn’t smell any of those scents. It did have some very small granules in it, but they were very few and far between and didn’t seem to me to even be worth the bother to add them into this. Washing my face with it was like washing it with a moisturizer, not a scrub. It was also harder to remove then I was expecting it to be. I had to go over my face five times before it was all off and if you’re like me I just don’t have the time to be messing around in the only bathroom I have for that long. I want it done and done fast so I can move on and someone else can have their turn. After my face was dry it did however have a nice soft clean feel to it. So did I just use too much, I don’t know because the Befine Pore Refining Treatment Scrub was suppose to be a one time use sample and I used it four times. I guess it’s just a matter of liking a product, or not liking it. I’d have to say try and get a sample for your self, give it a try and see how you feel about it. As for me I won’t be buying more of it.
