Did they change the scent/formula???

I had the CHI Silk (from a few years ago) and the thing that I loved the most about it was the INCREDIBLE SCENT!!! I was so excited to buy it again after a long time (and now the scent is nice like a subtle floral?) but it’s not the scent I recall at all :(

I honestly primarily bought if for that so am super bummed that it’s been changed (unless I had a different product from the brand; but I don’t believe so…) I would hate to think I got an unauthentic product? Bought from CHATTERS online in Canada. I will contact them and will have to go though my stash of old (small travel) bottles that I refill for trips of my favs to see the exact name and compare…

The performance of CHI is always great and up to its standard so that’s good but I was really after that scent I ADORED - I got so many compliments on the fragrance when I wore it and am seriously disappointed :(

Silky smooth

This product works really well. It's a small bottle and didnt think the value was there. However you only need to use a small amount and it really lasts for a long time. This helps to keep frizz down, as well as protects and keeps my hair healthy. I use it if my hair is straight or curly. Works awesome. I have been using it for 4 years, no build up noticed.

Haven't used anything else since!

This does the job in keeping my hair moisturized and heat resistant. I'm a heavy user of the straightening iron and I love how this helps combat the effects of the straightener. I used to be skeptical about this product, but realized once I stopped using this, it made a huge difference in the texture of my hair (for the worse that is). If you live near a costco, they recently started selling this and its a bigger bang for your buck!

Love using this after washing my hair

This is an oldie but a goodie.

PROS:
- smells like you had a good salon wash
- leaves your hair smooth and silky

CONS:
- slightly pricey (I paid $20 before tax for 150 ml)
- not sure for the long term benefits on the hair

A great product for static

The Chi silk infusion oil is a great product if you have hair that holds a lot of static and gets a lot of fly away hairs. It is also great for cutting down on frizz. You need to only use a small drop though because if you use too much, your hair can get pretty greasy.

Smooth and sleek hair

This is an effective silicone type of serum that definitely smooths out frizzies and flyaways. I find it is quite heavy though so I have to use a very small amount otherwise my hair is super flat. It does give a very nice smooth and sleek look to straight hair and my hair is very shiny when using it. A little goes a long way, so although it is pricey, the bottle lasts almost a couple of years for me with regular use. There is a strong scent upon application but fades quickly.

I got my hair done recently (straightening and cut) and at the end of a four hour long process, my hairdresser used this on my hair. Not only was my hair silky smooth, but it looked amazing. It had a nice shine and looked so much healthier. Everyone thought I had dyed my hair as well, but I had not. It really livened my hair up. Now I have to go out and get my own bottle.

Chi Silk Infusion runs a little on the expensive side so I at first purchased a travel size just in case it wasn't something I would like. Turns out I do like this product, a lot, and have since purchased the full size bottle. You will not need a lot of the product to get achieve shine, a little goes alone way!!! It has a beautiful smell that sticks to your hair after hot tools, rather then have a "burnt product" smell.
I find this serum to leave my hair so soft and shiny all day long! I mostly use this product on wet hair (roots to end) but i have tried it multiple times on dry hair without an issue(super thick hair); if your hair is fine you may not have as great results with the dry application as I did.

This is an expensive product so I always buy the travel size, but it's well worth it. It helps my color treated hair and smells amazing. One of the products I buy repeatedly.

I love love love this serum. It is extremely pricey for me. But i am enjoying the product!
Helps tame my curls
I only uee it on my wet hair as i do think it looks greasy when put on dry hair hair.
