Caution

I got this a few years back because an old roommate recommended it. It wasn’t until recently that I found out that it can cause damage to your skin because it’s too tough.

Bit gritty, but gets the job done

Smells great
Rougher scrub
Would use weekly to clean pores
Great for in the shower

I can't use this anymore

When I was younger (20s), I used this product as an exfoliator. Now in my 40s, this product created blemishes!! My face broke out with red splotches - awful! I can never use it again, which is too bad because the price is awesome & I see it on sale frequently.

Not good for your skin

I bought this product for two reasons: it was cheap and the description on the bottle was appealing. It really did nothing for my skin and made it almost worse than before. Would not recommend as a daily cleanser and would also not recommend for people with dry skin. If you’re going to buy this product, use it no more than 1-2 times a week.

Not for sensitive skin

Used this product a few years ago, found that it cleared up my acne but left my skin dry and tight. this lead to more moisturizer which led to more acne over time. I found the exfoliation too abrasive as well.

Not for my skin type

I've been using this product for well over two years now, and the only reason I haven't replaced it is due to the price and occasional effectiveness.

Firstly, the exfoliation is a little too rough for my skin, which is very sensitive. It does the job, but I feel raw and irritated after a shower or face wash despite being gentle throughout the routine.

Secondly, the smell is a bit off for me. I personally dislike it, as it reminds me of chemicals.

Even though it causes the redness and irritation, it still does a good job at getting dead skin and portruding comedone heads off of my face.

Basically, I wouldn't recommend it, especially for someone with sensitive skin. It definitely isn't a must-have for me.

I will start with some positives. This product has a great smell, I have used it to exfoliate my legs before shaving and it is a reasonable price. However, I cannot use this product on my face. I don't have any sensitive skin issues or anything but every time I have tried to use this product my skin broke out terribly. Almost like a rash or little blemishes. Definitely not a product I would recommend. especially if you do have any sensitive skin issues.

Previously, St Ives blemish control apricot scrub was my part of my daily routine. While I was using this product I found it to be very effective & helped to control my blemish outbreaks. The only reason I changed from this product was due to aging skin. I would recommend this product to a younger generation.

I bought this product a few years ago in hopes it would clear my acne. It didn't do anything for my skin, the most it did was exfoliate it with the scrub part. I wouldn't recommend.

It's average. I use it every once in a while and it's a good cleanser. I mostly appreciate the fresh scent of apricot. But I would not say this product is of outstanding quality.
