a gentle peel off

purchased this mask from Walmart as i was looking for another mask to add to my collection that exfoliates but is a peel off. it has a nice light fragrance and my skin felt fresh after - make sure to use moisturizer / serum after to ensure your face is not left stripped. the peel off was gentle compared to other products i’ve tried. i do wish the mask was a little thicker and in a bigger bottle! #aveeno #aveenopretox #tested

J'ai obtenu ce produit gratuitement et j'en ai fait l'essai pendant 5 jours sur une peau mixte à sensibilité normale. Tube contenant un gel mauve, d'une valeur de 10.35$ chez Walmart avec une odeur formidable de mûres, applicateur facile donnant la bonne quantité sans gaspillage.

I was lucky enough to try this product free through Chick Advisor and I am glad I did! My daughter and I are just getting into face masks so I though that it would be a fun time to try this one!

I have some mixed reviews about Aveeno's Peel off Face Masks, I love scented products but this one was a little bit heavy on the scent as it stays on your face for so long so it is somewhat overwhelming.

I did use quite a bit of the product so i'm not really sure that the value is there because I don't know how many additional applications out of it.

My face felt great when I peeled it off. I had a bit of a tough time but not quite the same as a lot of the other reviewers had.

Overall I'm a bit undecided but i would lean a little more towards buying it again in the future as the end result is really what matters to me.

It works, but makes you work for it

The packaging: Simple and straight forward. Tube in a box. Pretty standard for the product.

The instructions: Apply an even layer to clean skin avoiding the eye area and hairline. Leave on for 15 to 20 minutes. The mask will become more transparent as it dries. Once it's completely dried, gently peel off from the edges of the face. Easy enough!

Application: Easy enough. I smoothed it on using a silicone applicator I already had on hand. I put a nice, thick layer on, knowing that if you leave thin spots, you end up with a lot of work in the end peeling it off.

The Wait: The sharp berry scent made my eyes water, I won't lie. That wasn't pleasant. But other than the tightening drying sensation on the skin, which is normal, the skin portion was fine.

The Removal: Remember when I said that I put a thick layer on to make sure there were no thin spots, setting up for easy removal? Yeah, that didn't work. This is probably the hardest peel off mask I've ever removed. Not because it was super effective and felt like it was peeling my skin off, but because the product kept tearing, and I had to find edges repeatedly.

The Effect: Once I washed off the remnants and edges that I eventually gave up on, the skin looked refreshed and glowing.

The Verdict: This is a decent budget mask, and does what it says it's going to do, but for ease of removal, I would go with a different brand.

I liked it.

This mask smelled nice and was easy to put on! They weren't lying when it says to avoid the hairline though. It was a bit tough to pull off and felt like it was going to take my face with it lol. But it left my skin very soft and smooth though! Overall I liked it and would probably buy it to see the results over time.

Pre tox peel off mask

I recently had the opportunity to try the peel off mask and I was pleasantly surprised! It applied nicely and dried fairly quickly as well. It worked well to unclog my pores and the scent of it was very pretty. I would definitely purchase this product again in the near future. I highly suggest this face mask for anyone looking for an affordable and high quality product! I received this product for testing purposes.

Didn't apply enough

The instructions said to apply a generous amount. I thought I had applied enough but when it dried it was somewhat difficult to peel.
Next time I will apply more.
Skin felt nice after peeling off mask.

A great affordable mask

Hey guys I was chosen for this campaign to try & review this mask #GotItFree. Well this #AveenoAbsolutlyAgeless pre-tox face mask is good. I did find that it made my skin softer but Idk it it's something to ad to my skin care routine. I already Exfoliate, cleanse, serum ,eye cream +day/night creams. Maybe as a weekly peel. Its worth a try for the price is good and my other girlfriends really liked it.

left my skin feeling smooth

I enjoyed the ease of spreading the mask on my face, as well as how smooth it made my face feel after it was off. However, I tried 3 times to do the mask and all 3 times, it would not fully peel off for me.I ended up removing the remainder with a facecloth and was upset by that as I was hoping for something that just came off with little effort. I will continue to try to make it work for me (I'm not a quitter :) )
