When I first bought this I absolutely loved it! It covered my face really well and it lasted all day. But now, I don;t like it and have stopped using it. I'm not sure if my skin has changed but it doesn't look nice on me anymore. I barely lasts half a day on my face and it totally looks like I'm wearing something. It doesn't blend into my skin, just sits on top and kind of cakes up on certain spots.

Love this foundation! I love that it has sunscreen in it, I love how it makes my skin look and the price isn;t awful! Plus I feel good putting it on my skin!

I started using this product about 4 years ago and I loved it. It was perfect. I was certain I found the perfect foundation . My only problem was the messiness of the product. You could build on coverage and it looked radiant and smooth. I never had to reapply because it stayed on all day. I had combination skin with mild/occasional acne.

HOWEVER, my skin started changing a few years ago and last year I stopped using it because it just didn't work the same. It was almost sliding off my face and looked "patchy" and powdery/dull at times. I change between colors (Medium Beige to Golden Medium) and I've tried both the original and Matte formula thinking the product had changed. Unfortunately, I'm certain it's my skin as its gotten very oily and more acne prone with other issues.

I'm giving this product a 4/5 based on how it used to work for me. But now, I'd say it's only about 2/5 (or less even).

So my search for foundation continues!

In Dec I hit 35 :o and was at a complete loss as far as my changing skin, skin care and make up were concerned. I stopped in to a Bare Minerals store and had a visit with the consultant. I am now a customer for life. I wish I had known of their products years ago. My skin is combo, very sensitive, freckled and this make up is an answered prayer :)

I was never a foundation person, but as I got older , I felt that my face needed something to make my skin tone even. I tried other stuff but Bare Escentuals foundation is the best. It gives you cover without the heaviness.

I have been using this foundation for about a year now. And I can't believe I never knew about this product before! Its amazing. I use the matte version since I have oily skin and I haven't had any major breakouts since using this product. I purchased the kit which comes with a few brushes. I love the concealer brush. However, the other brushes are not very good quality. Love the foundation though!

I love the mineral veil!! It is perfect for setting my liquid foundation. It gives my skin a pore-less and perfect finished look. It helps my foundation last all day.

I cannot live without this product! Before trying Bare Minerals, I really didn't believe all the buzz about it. After my sister suggested I use it, I decided to try it and I am so glad I did. LIke most women aka "chicks," I have skin imperfections - acne scars and hyperpigmentation that I want to hide, but not look like I am wearing a ton of makeup. Besides, living in Arizona, your makeup tends to slide off if you wear too much or the wrong kind. I would not leave the house without it. Besides, it's really not very expensive, and really even cheaper than most other brands. I have tried the other brands, too, but always come back to Bare Minerals because nothing else comes close! If you have skin imperfections that you are trying to hide, I would suggest that you give Bare Minerals a try.

I started buying this while I had oily skin. I did not have to touch up my make up throughout the day. I stayed shine free!!
