Great addition to my makeup kit since it's basically a multi-tasking sponge. Immediately fell in love with it. My main use for it is foundation and concealer and it has a fantastic application. Really airbrushed finish, no creasing, and really soft when bouncing it on the face. It is best when used damp, even for powders. It's a bit tough to clean since it picks and holds quite a bit of product, but I use baby shampoo and it works wonders plus definitely cheaper than the solid/liquid cleanser they sell. A bit of dye can come out while cleaning but it's very typical of the sponge and the color doesn't stick to anything

Love love love my beauty blender!! It's a little pricey for a sponge but it is so worth it!! Gives me a beautiful flawless finish to my makeup and very easy to use

This is the best beauty blender out there, hands down! It allows me to blend my foundation which is a bit on the thick side, evenly and blends for a perfect base, without smudging or streaking! It's so easy to clean as well.

I also use it when it's damp to apply setting powder to the concealer under my eye, it presses the powder in, without creasing or making the fine lines under my eye appear larger than they are.

Tip: I get my blender wet with warm tap water, squeeze out the excess water and then apply foundation, this way it doesn't soak it all up and I don't feel that I am wasting any!

First off, I will start by saying this: the beautyblender is fantastic at blending out liquid products, and gives you a smooth canvas on your face. I have no gripes about how it performs.

However, it is NOT WORTH the price! The fact that is soaks up my foundation, takes lots of care to stay clean and prevent bacteria from growing, and needs to be treated with care to prevent rips is not worth the price point of $28. Plus, the company recommends you to replace this after a few months. That is expensive!

I am a firm believer that with enough time spent on blending, any brush (I personally love the e.l.f. Ultimate Blending Brush) will create the same effect as the beauty blender. Even so, there are cheaper options available at the drugstore nowadays (the new sponge from L'oreal is an exact dupe of the beautyblender). There are just so many cheaper options that I don't see myself shelling out the extra money for the same effect.

I've used a beauty blender for a couple years now. It definitely works and makes your foundation look more flawless then a brush or fingers. Its biggest downfall is the price, it's so expensive. I also started to break out more often even when I washed it often. On a whim a few weeks ago I saw a makeup sponge that resembles the beauty blender at my local dollar store. It was only a couple bucks so I figured I'd try it out. I did half my face with the beauty blender and half my face with the dollar store sponge when I got home. Shockingly I could barely tell the difference. So I doubt I'll be repurchasing a beauty blender. It's just way too expensive for a sponge that needs to be replaced every few months. At least with a cheaper sponge I won't feel guilty replacing it more often.

Beauty blenders are all the rage these days. HOWEVER, beauty blender brand is the most expensive of your options. All beauty blenders work about the same and there are SO many other, cost effective options these days. I say do your research for less expensive options before gong with this brand.

There is good reason this little beauty sponge has almost a 5 star review on the Sephora website with more than 5600 reviews. All you do with this sponge is run it under water, squeeze it out about 15 times, and then use it to apply your foundation, concealer, and even powder. It may sound like a lot of work but it takes about 2 minutes and the outcome of your foundation will be amazing. This month I have been loving using it for my entire foundation routine. I’ll bounce my foundation on with this, then my concealer, and then i’ll dip this in my powder and bake my under eyes with this. It works amazing.

I bought the kit that comes with 3 different sizes of beauty blender, as well as the blender cleanser solid. For 50$ it was a great value! The sponges are perfect for foundation, concealer, and even bronzer and blush. They allow you to really blend everything in really nicely and don't leave any kind of brush strokes or creasing behind which you can sometimes get with other applicators or brushes. The tiny sponge lets you get right up against your lash line and around your nose. Overall a really great product. The only drawback is it does absorb a bit of product, but so do brushes.

It took me a while to invest in the beauty blender, because I found it very expensive for what it is...However once I did get it, I love it. It's great at blending in foundation and any sort of powder makeup and trumps most makeup brushes. Only con is that it's quite pricey ~$28, especially when they say you should get a new one every 3 months. One more thing, it's kind of a pain to clean. Takes a bit of time to get all the makeup to wash off.
