This is officially my new go-to!

I'm already a huge fan of avocado oil and having the chance to try a more the Becel brand made me ecstatic. We already buy Becel products due to their great quality, and this product held up the reputation. I cook a lot of meals at home and was excited to find out that this oil had a much higher smoke point than other oils and mixed well in salad dressings. I think it is an affordable, no trans-fat, omega-3 alternative. I have already used a decent amount of the bottle and will definitely be recommending this to both friends and family, as well as buying it again soon. Loving This Oil!

I had the opportunity to try the Becel Avo Plus oil and I have to say I have been loving it. This oil is excellent as an all-purpose cooking oil, I have used it for everything from frying eggs to stovetop french fries to oiling a pan for baking and it did the job very well each time. It is ideal because it does not have a strong flavor and therefore does not affect the taste of what you are preparing. The high smoke point also makes it great for nearly anything you might want to use it for in the kitchen. An extra bonus would be the health benefits added by the avocado oil, you're also getting your omega-3! this has been a great addition to my pantry. I'm sure I will continue to use it, it has a great price point of about $8.

Great and Healthier to typical frying oil!

I’m kind of an olive snob and am very particular about the flavour of the oils I typically use. Now the advantage of this particular oil is that it is a combination of canola, avocado, and mid-oleic sunflower oil which means it heats up faster and is thinner than your conventional olive oil (which makes it better for frying), has no trans-fats, is low in saturated fat and is a good source of Omega 3 & 6 (bonus)... I loved the light flavour it gave it gave my food.

Becel Avo Oil A+

My family and I were selected to try the BECEL AVO PLUS from Family Rated for free in exchange for our honest thoughts and opinions and we are in love! We use oil a lot more in cooking then we do butter or margarine but we find that it's hard to find a reasonably priced oil that is neutral tasting, with a high smoke point. Enter: Becel Avo Plus. It's everything we have been looking for and more!

The Becel Avo Plus is a blend of canola oil, avocado oil, and mid-oleic sunflower oil. It has a neutral taste and has a smoke point of a whopping 455 degrees F. I use oil for everything in cooking from sauteeing, to roasting, to salad dressings, to dip. I love that with this oil I am able to roast my vegetables or potatoes in the oven at higher than 400 degrees F with NO issues. Something I learned that has always stuck with me is that canola and sunflower oil usually have smoke points of 400 and are also usually less refined (which is why they burn at lower smoke points). The higher a smoke point the oil has, the less impurities there are in the oil and therefore the less inclined it is to burn when cooking! Anyone who cooks with oils that have a higher smoke point also know that they can be VERY expensive. So finding a great oil, with a high smoke point, suitable for all cooking is important!

I used the Becel Avo Plus for a variety of things over the past two weeks and I have zero complaints. I used it to sear steaks on a rainy day, in my homemade Greek dressing for Greek pasta salad, on oven roasted potatoes, and to saute my vegetables for chicken stir-fry. The taste of all our meals was incredible and was not compromised in the slightest. The smoke point stands true and my oil did not burn during the searing of the steaks or with the oven roasted potatoes. My favourite part is that there are ZERO trans fats and it is low in saturated fats.

Overall, this oil passed the test in my kitchen and will be added to my regular pantry lineup. It is neutral tasting and versatile and has a high smoke point! I could not find the price of the oil in stores or online but I saw a reviewer comment that they could find it for $7.99 which is more then reasonable for the size, quality and versatility of the product. I would recommend this to family and friends and will be purchasing this in the future when I am able to locate it in stores! :)

My new favorite cooking oil!

I received Becel's Avo Plus oil for free from the the family rated review club. So far, I love it! I have used it as a vinaigrette in my salad (lettuce, cucumber, tuna and a bit of salt & pepper). I love the blend of different type of oil: canola oil, avocado oil and mid-oleic sunflower oil. It is very tasty and light. I have also used the oil to cook stir-fry and it taste great! I definitely recommend recommend this oil to those who are looking for an alternative cooking oil. #free

A light tasting oil that doesn't overpower your dishes.

This light oil has a mild scent and doesn’t overpower what you are preparing. Very versatile.

I received this product for free as part of the Product Review Club. I really enjoyed how versatile this oil was. I used it in both savoury and sweet recipes and they all turned out great. It has a light flavour so it doesn't impact or compete with the end result too much. I also appreciate that it has a high smoking point, which made frying foods easy and it also didn't make my food smell heavily fried either. This had avocado oil blended in, with the added benefits of Omega 3, which is something that would attract me into buying it, as a consumer. However, I would have preferred a different oil other than canola, for health purposes. With that being said, if I ever need to purchase a canola oil in the future, I would probably opt for this blend, instead of just a regular canola oil. It's good, overall.

Amazing Oil!

Having tried Becel Avo Plus for the first time, I have decided that I will continue to buy it with my groceries.
For testing, I tried it when cooking with a variety of different foods. I used it for making stir fry, omelettes, chicken breast, etc. Each time it added a nice subtle flavour to my meals.

It is an amazing product, and I would highly recommend it.

Excellent for baking and more!

I appreciate this plant based oil blend. It has a high smoke point and is great for cooking, frying, baking or even on the BBQ. I've also used it to make my own oil based dressings for cold salads.
