Pas comme le vrai beurre...

Pour ce qui est du goût c'était quand même assez bon mais parcontre très loin du goût original du vrai beurre! Je suis tout de même assez déçue car j'étais persuadée que j'aurais beaucoup aimé!

Pretty good but I still prefer butter

This was pretty tastey and compared more to butter than normal becel. That said I still prefer butter. This is a better alternative for baking and worked well!

A Perfect Subsitute!

I love to try new products so I was super excited to be selected to try Becel Plant Based Salted by Family Rated. Let's just see how it compares to butter!

Overall, my family did not notice a difference in flavour when I made the substitution. The texture was slightly smoother/softer so that was what gave it away. It performed well when using in cooking & baking as well which really impressed me.

Great for cooking, baking or just on its' own on toast, I would highly recommend this plant-based replacement. I wouldn't hesitate to put in in my butter dish for guests to use because honestly, you wouldn't be able to tell the difference with dairy based butter. I am hooked!

Une belle alternative mais......

J'ai une recette de biscuits pépites de chocolat que je fais depuis toujours. Connaissant quasiment parfaitement le goût traditionnel de ses biscuits, je trouvais qu'il n'y avait rien de mieux pour faire la comparaison. Et bien personne n'a remarqué la différence sauf moi. Mais un gros bémol : l'huile de palme! Nous sommes de plus en plus sensibilisé au sujet des ingrédients qui sont contenus dans nos produits alors pourquoi en prendre un si controversé et néfaste pour la nature? Dommage.

J'aime le goût exellent pour les toasts ou cuire des légumes dans la poêle la seule chose c'est que ça reste moi comme de la margarine si ons ne le met pas au frigo comparent a du vrai beurre c'étais mon seul point négatif très heureuse quand même de lavoir testé.

Tastes Great!

I was very sceptical about what plant based butter would taste like, but once I tired Becel plant based butter I was pleasantly surprised. It has a creamy texture like regular butter and has hall the same yummy goodness. You gotta try this stuff! I will definitely buy it again.

Facile pour cuisiner!

J'ai eu la chance de pouvoir essayé BECEL SALTED PLANT-BASED Bricks et je suis ravie du résultat. Je l'ai utilisé pour faire des sauces et aussi pour mon pain et mes pommes de terres au four. Très facile d'utilisation et il a très bon goût. Le prix laisse à désirer.... Je le trouve peu abordable.

Great butter substitute!

I was excited to be selected to try this new plant-based product from Becel. Straight from the fridge, it has a softer texture than butter and spreads smoothly and easily, even on bread. I wanted to see how it would perform with baking and my biscuits turned out very well! But my favorite use for the Becel Plant-Based Brick is melted on popcorn -- very butter-like! What I don't like about this product is that it's main ingredient is modified palm oil. Also, the price is comparable to butter, so unless you are specifically looking for a butter substitute, I would go for the real deal.

No difference tasted

I'm surprised this is plant based! Not sure what I was expecting but nobody in my family could tell the difference either on their corn on the cob or baked into cookies! Seems a little Healthier as well. Would certainly purchase again

Made some great cookies!

I tried these Becel Bricks in the chocolate chip cookie recipe listed on the Becel website. They were so good! Delicious taste and great soft texture. A little saltier than when I make it with butter but everyone I shared with loved them. The brick format fooled my husband into thinking it was butter, he didn't notice! Lol. Brick also made it easier to cut out measurements for baking. Only thing I would recommend is usually we leave the butter out to be soft, this doesnt need it, if you leave it out its going to be kind of squishy when you try to cut it!
